here's why I'm convinced with Christianity. Paul of Tarsus persecuted early Christians so much so that majority of Christians fled to Syria. Paul followed them there. Then he suddenly did a 360 degree turn in faith. He preached about Christ. What pushed him to do this? What caused his insanity? enduring enormous pain, denying himself family life, respect, prestige, and in the end death if all of this is BS?

it is the central issue which takes the teachings of jesus from the philosophy of doing good to others to the ultimate truth which it claims.

JWs Lack of Love and Feelings
by jemba ini have noticed the extreme lack of love in this group of people who preach love, love, love.. we recently had serious floods come through our area and the jws couldnt have cared less.
our 'worldly' friends did sooo much for us though.
raising money, giving gifts, cards, accomodation and so much support and hard work.. i personally think jws are one of the most insensitive, uncaring religions around.. three religious groups were absolutely wonderful during the flooding of our area.

Do You Believe In ANYTHING That The Witnesses Taught At This Point In Your Life?
by minimus infor example, they pride themselves in what they don't believe such as immortal souls, the trinity, hellfire, etc.. some exjws still believe it is the "truth" and support the basics.. .

the Tetragrammaton (although I learned since then that the obeying His Will is infinitely more important than merely uttering His Name)
acquired taste and discipline for Bible reading
the enormous shock of realizing how prophecies can be fulfilled right in front of your nose unnoticed (e.g. antichrists, false prophets)

Found a scripture where Jesus is clearly manipulating people
by cptkirk init's a scripture that is very well known (at least among witnesses) , relatively well known.
it is clearly manipulative, and the irony being that i've seen an elder use it for his own manipulative purposes as well....in a similar circumstance that jesus used it in.
when you look at it again, you may not have seen it this way, but you will now.. i am not trying to put jesus on trial here, simply trying to point out something that is very obvious, and yet most people probably never stepped back and realized what he was actually doing here.. it is mark 6. they are stumbling over jesus (spiritually stumbling), so did he say a prayer for their hearts to be opened?

well in that case, they should have at least been more reasonable and look at the works itself, and not on the man. whether or not the deed itself is good or evil. but since they knew him too well-he basically grew up in front of them, it was difficult
