having had served at bethel,i'd seen the corruption, lack of love, nepotism, double standards and endless manmade rules, but thought the local branch was the problem..i recall the branch coordinator blasting ray franz at morning worship and saying 'who cares what ray franz wrote'...well i did....my initial reaction was mainly shock.
..the wbts was rotten to the core right from the headquarters...shocked to learn that the seemingly nice old men in the gb are evil, they are bloodguilty.
.the malawi/mexico issue troubled me for days...and i was angry for having wasted my youthful years for a lie.

ok.. you 70 plus bethelite members.... this is your chance to share stories!
inquiring minds want to know !no full names please..follow t.o.s.
to avoid borg libel lawsuits).. i will start the ball rolling with week one.
I'm surprised MochaLatte was allowed to remain in bethel...I doubt that would have happened in the bethel that I served....it had ,and still has ,a very cold, unloving Branch Committee...one brother was asked to leave bethel after his fiancee cancelled their wedding a few days before and went ahead to marry another brother shortly after. ..it was very sad for the already heartbroken brother. More recently,a few months ago, a missionary member of the same unloving Branch Committee , was reproved and dismissed from Bethel...usually when one is dismissed, they have to leave bethel on the same day, ...this ex BC member was given some days to pack and leave. ..his wife was given a Special Pioneer assignment in the country...so they didn't have to go back to their homecountry in disgrace.......it was still poetic justice as this brother had made life miserable for many with his endless manmade rules..... But he was given preferential treatment, other bethelites who've been dismissed have been treated very badly ,they are literally thrown out, without a cent, and their innocent mates are not treated any better. I'll not be surprised if the ex missionary,ex BC member makes his way back into special full time service.
hey there all,.
i was da from a cong in northern new england back in the early 1990s for voting.
i did not write the letter, the elders did it for me.
Good luck!
My interest in learning TTATT was triggered when some JWN members posted comments on a JW friendly FB page regarding the Conti case. ..if you can cautiously only get a few JWs start thinking then your efforts will be worth it!
as a special "thank you" gift to the watch tower society's team of lawyers for getting jwsurvey shut down yesterday, i have written a new article focussing on the experience of the nigeria plane crash from pages 29 and 30 of the 2013 yearbook.
the experience purports to be about the relief committee set up to assist a witness family whose home was destroyed by a deadly plane crash that claimed over 150 lives rather than the freak survival of the family because they obediently attended their meeting.. still, the reaction of witnesses on facebook unmistakably demonstrates that the real aim of the watchtower propaganda machine was mostly achieved in this article.
despite the fact that two witnesses were recently killed in a bus crash on their way to an assembly, apparently those who obey the bible's command to not forsake gathering together will experience "jehovah's hand" of protection.. here is the link.... http://jwsurvey.org/cedars-blog/we-have-truly-seen-jehovahs-hand-the-shocking-side-of-watchtower-propaganda.
Its true that as in most parts of Africa, English isn't their first language, probably not even their second. ..in any case, the English spoken there is different and in no way reflects on their level of education or lack of it.
Interestingly, it reported here on JWN only a few months ago that over twenty JWs lost their lives while obediently making their way to a convention riding on the back of a truck. .I doubt the Society would say their obedience cost these dear brothers their lives..

"if it was'nt for the preaching work there would be millions more witnesses" - he was saying jehovah wants quality not quantity.. si i'm thinking, what's the difference as long as he has a people that live by bible standards and are moral.
maybe sharing their hope and faith with friends and relatives on a casual basis?
how backwards is that?.
DO at a circuit assembly a few years ago---
You must not have get togethers on public holidays....reason....the neighbours might think that you are celebrating the said holiday ,never mind that it might be Idd ul Fitr or Independence Day. ........everyone ignored him. ....
Also...you must not go out to dinner or have a special meal on the night of the Memorial....reason....if you have a special meal your mind will be on the chicken or stake you left in the oven
i have not been very active on jwn for several months and just wanted to invite new members to post hi on this thread.
sometimes it is easier to submit a post to an existing thread than figuring out how to post a new thread to say "hi" or to overcome fears of posting on jwn.. there seems to be a lot of new members since august of 2012. does anyone else feel that their are a lot of new members on jwn in the last 6 months?.
peace be with you and everyone, who you love,.
Thanks for encouraging newbies to post. ..it does take courage for some of us. .I've been visitig this great site since July, my awakening was triggered by the Conti case. Some JWN members had posted comments on a JW friendly Fb page which were quickly deleted but too late as they led me here. ...I was initially hesitant but the Society's silence on the matter made
me look for other sources of information ..I'm so grateful I did that.
