Riding in traffic is life or death decision-making. I have to be in a state of constant alert. The adrenaline is galvanizing! I get from Point A to Point B and I really feel ALIVE!
I live in a university town where they just took part of the roadway on many streets to make bike lanes all over town. They also passed a law that people in cars can't shout anything out of the windows at the bike riders.
Sounds like your in a larger city. Consider a helmet if you don't have one.

yesterday evening my wife and i were invited to friends house for new year's eve.
we met them when i was a christian and we have kept in touch.
they had a few other friends there as well, including the new church pastor and his wife.
If a GM engineer designed wheels the same way god designed tectonic plates, the wheels would fall off after a month or less. The car would be recalled and likely the engineer would be fired.
Why do christains give god a free pass on his creation in a way that we would never consider giving a mere mortal for a much lesser creation?

The JW pedophile community should be quite happy that at these conventions, there was no outright condemnation of pedophilia, or change in WT policy to emphasize the protection of children in the congregation.

I knew a fortune teller or as she prefered to be called a spritualist for 20 years before she died at the age of 96. She started when she was a young girl in a covered wagon, so did this her entire life.
When at home away from her office and with family, what she did was never spoken of, and neither did any of the family.
The truth of the matter is this: At best, they are a poor man's psycologist! Nothing more. People have problems, poor people have more problems. Many poor people don't have insurance. After a $10 or $20 visit from Madame C, and they leave feeling a bit better.
At worst, its a con for the money alone.
I drove Madame C. to her office once, she was quite old and I had to help her up the stairs to her office. To my surprise, she had a sign hanging on the wall that said, "Attend a church of your choice" and it had a picture of a church on it. I really didn't expect that.
This is how I view fortune tellers to this day, they are a poor man's psycologist.
