Interesting topic. Could someone provide a couple examples of how Paul contradicted the saying of Jesus?

IS it possible that Paul was just a failed Pharisee that
by confusedandalone insaw an opening?.
if we look at christianity it appears that pauls teaching are what formulate it and not jesus.
paul often contradicts the words that are "supposedly" spoken by jesus repeatedly.

People name names on this site all the time. Outrageous things are said about GB members posted right along with their pictures on this site and no one is concerned about privacy.
If a GB member was disfellowshipped would we be concerned about not using his name for the sake of his privacy? I don't see the distniction between GB members and their top company men lap dogs really.
That siad, I am more interested in the reason more than the who. It would really be good to see some defections at high levels, but most likely they were DF for conduct unbecomming a christian.

Help with past bulling!
by Joshinaz inhey guys.
i need to speak about something that has haunted me in the past and has affected me still today.. in school from 3rd to 8th grade i have been severly bullied because i was raised as a jehovah's witness.
kids everyday would beat and me call me "jo-ho" and chant the name on the school grounds, and the school bus everyday without stop!

If there was a primary ring leader who instigated the bulling, I would do some reasearch find where he is today and go give him the beat down he deserves.
You may or may not feal better in doing so.... I would.

How I recently handled JWs at my door
by Christian guy inthe jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.
i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.
so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

Have you considered that they were there to watch you for any brazen conduct that would allow them to DF you without the need for your signature on paper?

My mom wants me to disassociate myself from her on facebook if
by JWdaughter inmy mom sent me a email telling me that if i want to put any of that (non jw/non christian) religious stuff on my facebook then i should unfriend her.
i didn't respond directly.
i did take the email, remove id'ing aspects and ask my facebook friends to tell me what they thought of the request.

Tell her that if she is offended by what you post on FB she should blame her parents for raising a pussy.

A mole within the FDS!
by braincleaned init has been now verified that there was a traitor within the gb!.
an insider had the courage and audacity to verify this, taking the risk of being kicked out of bethel, with a cross carved on his forehead.. it became apparent that all the men of the gb where naturally bald, even when some tried to hide it with a clever and stylistic comb-over.
but there was some suspicion that pierce and losch were not true bald men.

If you get attacked and killed by a she-bear this weekend just know that it is payback from Jehovah for mocking his prophets.

Mac Book Pro with Retina or Dell XPS 15? (both with new Haswell processors)
by Simon ini've been in need of a new laptop for a long time.
no, i mean it - a really long time.
the old dell that we have has a floppy lid and is woefully underpowered although it does build up my upper body strength every time i pick it up.. the last 6 months has been a bad time to buy something new though with the haswell processors on the horizon promising better battery life and also screen technology seems to have been leaping ahead recently to a new hi-dpi standard.. so apple finally released their mac book pro and at the same time dell has released an xps 15 ultrabook which looks like a pretty good alternative and probably better 'value'.. pro's and con's?

My wife is a photographer and heavy user of photoshop. She used in on windows PC for a couple years and every evening the same thing would happen. She would be cursing at the PC for it being to slow, locking up, problems etc. I swear she must have been a sailor in a previous life.
We purchased her a Macbook pro, transfered the photoshop license to the mac and all of her problems went away. The cursing stopped and she was a new woman!
I think the overall lifespan of the Mac is longer than the PC due to a more solid OS. Worth every extra $ for the piece and quite it brought to our home.
A year later I replaced my laptop with a macbook pro and have no regrets.
