Views on handing out literature during field service

it is brought to my attention that some non jw's deliberately accept jw literature just to throw it in the bin.. their intentions are perceived as positive meaning these non jw's throwing their magazines away is a good thing.. what is your view on the matter?.

should they accept or not accept their literature, and why?.

is accepting literature benefiting or damaging the cult, and why?.

i'm wondering how they feel about their likeness being spammed all over the internet right now?

i'll bet they didn't sign up for this kind of attention.. it reminds me of an article wired magazine did on youtube a couple years ago about people that had their careers or social life ruined by a viral youtube video.. anyway, it would be interesting to find out who these guys are and what may or may not end up happening with them over this..

I can go anywhere in the world walk up to any adult, give them the 'finger sign' and they will know exactly what I am saying. I don't need to know ASL, they don't need to know ASL.

What other hand sign is so universally understood?

well i figured i should give you all an update.

it is not a huge surprise and i am not afraid nor "shaking in my boots", however i will admit it is stressful right now.

It will be a great day when DF for apostasy becomes greater than DF for fornication. I agree with OLNS on huminizing the issue as much as possible so outsiders can clearly see the damage WT corp can do to families.

How far will a JW elder go to protect the image that is displayed at the Kingdom hall? $, boating, beer, good times, nice guy... Often the spouse and family are the only ones who know the true person behind closed doors.

The WT makes it so hard to end a bad marriage, I think for some, it is easier to just kill their spouse. They get rid of their problem while protecting their image.

it was held at the santa clara convention center in the silicon valley http://www.santaclara.org/conventioncenter/ which is an improvement over the old s.f.

cow palace which is still used..just not as much.

It will be raining like hell in the midwest USA, thank god we need it. Instead of door to door will do some telephone witnessing instead, practice my next public talk. Oh and have some of the friends over to study the watchtower lesson for Sunday and play Jenga.

Oh that was a hell of a flash-back.

Spending time with grand-twins and BBQ if the rain lets up.
