  i'm just curious to see what everyone thinks about this because i do know a brother in toronto who is a practising lawyer and knowing him somewhat i would have to say that he must battle his consience every night.

  For the longest time I had given over my mind to the GB, but no more. However I still believe some of the teachings that were taught to me, and proven to be from the Bible. I still do believe in the Bible.

  for all of you who are thinking about da or df, my advice is don't do it.

  you are falling into a trap that the wt has set for any who disagree with them.

  wouldn't it be much more productive if everyone who left, held on to their status even if they didn't go to the hall and exposed some of the bull****t ?.

  For all of you who are thinking about DA or DF, my advice is don't do it. You are falling into a trap that the WT has set for any who disagree with them. Wouldn't it be much more productive if everyone who left, held on to their status even if they didn't go to the hall and exposed some of the bull****t ?

  In this way when ever you meet someone on the street from the hall and they ask you:" How come you haven't been at the meetings?"

  This would give you an opportunity to help someone else to break free from thought control.

  This is exactly what I'm doing and have been successful in talking to diffrent ones.

  Dear SC,

  I wish you would of waited before sending your letter of DA. I only wanted to express that there are other ways of handling it . But if you feel that's the best way for you than who am I to question. You see what I meant to say is, keep your status even if you don't go anymore and inform as many as possible what you have learned on the internet in this way you keep the lines open in helping your fellowman.

  Thank you for all your replies, it was interesting to hear the diffrent view points.

  SS , I would just like to note that criminal lawyers are a necessary evil so to speak due to the fact on how our legal system is designed. One of the most fascinating thing about law is the pioneering of law in small and large issues to define as much as possible black and white to arrive at the proper conclusion on things. The GB should take an example from this when they make their own law as opposed to what the Bible says on certain matters.

  I'm here, just been really busy.
  Sorry about not replying sooner Frenchy and yes I'm ok.

  Seven of Nine, you don't have to worry about not mentioning my camouflage underwear because their in the wash , and I'm wearing flashy gold ones right now while typing on my computer.

  Of course it is, everyone knows that, duh?, we follow our bethelite human leaders on all new light since the 50's , even if it means catapulting dead cows in the field ministry once in a while.

  Love your sense of humour that's probably why we are watchtower brothers. I bet you are 15 years old, son of an elder promoted to ministerial servant for handling the microphones and prominent window washer in your town looking to possibly joining the full crew of Monty at bethel in the near future to dispense spiritual light on the holy grail!
