Thoughts on annual meeting “new light”
by FFGhost inso, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.

he's lost all gains from his begging videos and reminders and tin cup waving and etc.. so, fire up the shrooms and let us know where you think flab boy will be on february 2nd.

Opines that we all may be living in a simulation.
What he took from the experience is this: "I am God and everyone is God".Lloyd's upload reminds me of a conversation I had with a former jw.....
It was a very close family friend who tried to break my faith in the jw's many years ago.
I asked them if they had 'the truth'.
They said they did.
When I said, tell me then, what is the truth, they repeated exactly the same two thoughts quoted in the beginning of my post.
They now spend their whole time taking extremely strong marijuana and other substances whilst watching very gruesome and violent horror films and have become extremely paranoid and I quite dread bumping into them because they just go on and on and on...
The most casual chat becomes tense, long winded and dreary.
But hey ho if that's what floats their boat who am I to judge. I'm not quite ready for that lifestyle myself just yet - even if it has lead them to 'the truth'..
After being machine gunned and pebble dashed with watchtower scriptures and brainwashing for decades I'm really enjoying the peace outside jw land
-a good single malt or two is all I need at present...

My grandmother called my mother
by Anony Mous inso, i’m just posting this as a warning to lurking jws.
if you’re still on the fence, here is a story.. my grandmother, now in her 80s hasn’t talked to anyone in the family for over 20 years ever since my mother was the last one of her children that left ‘the truth’, she had sent my mother a card to never talk to her again.
so here we are 21 years later, she gets a call out of the blue that she needed help, she hadn’t been able to get into her kitchen.

JW's are a total CULT. They only care about someone as much as they are able to USE THEM and get all of their money. When you're old or sick, they are NOWHERE to be found. They are 100% USELESS FUCKERS!!!
My extremely aged parents who have been loyal to the wt all their lives are now treated with contempt. No phone calls, no visits, nothing.
They still donate to the org, send gifts to those in the kh who they feel need encouragement.
They get NOTHING in return. They are sadly scarily protective of the org too when I point out how badly they are being treated.
They just can't seem to compute/acknowledge that they are being treated like absolute crap in their time of need.
They would much rather attack me for 'trying to undermine their faith'!!!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Yes, I remember hearing a talk by the C.O. William Heath in the early 1990's saying "When you look at the advanced age of the governing body you realise that the end of the system must be very very soon,"
I queried that surely you cannot link the end of this system of things to the advanced age in the 1990's of some old men in Brooklyn to two elders in private conversation.
One instantly accused me of talking like an apostate, saying it was impossible for these GB men in the early 1990's to all die before Armageddon came.
The other was more thoughtful and said he understood what I was implying. He admitted he was prepared not to lose his faith if indeed all these men died and the end had still not come.
Sadly, when I pointed out this conversation to my jw family in 2024 - they instantly accuse me of talking like an apostate -
But yes, in actual fact, every governing body member that William Heath referred to is now indeed LONG DEAD!!
And I am very sorry William Heath R.I.P but the end did not come before that early 1990's GB passed away- instead we now have a completely different governing body all still proclaiming loudly that the end is soon to come...
