  Were any congregation '' special privileges'' ever taken away from you?

  if you don't measure up to the watchtower society ''high standards''... you might lose some ''special privileges'' .

  miss meetings...lose ''privileges''.

  don't meet the monthly 10 hour ''field service'' ...lose ''privileges''.

  I was the assistant to an elder that was extremely difficult to please many years ago.

  He used to rant that his return visits were in bed on Xmas Day and New Years day at 9.30am when he called on them - He went ballistic when I suggested he could adapt his ministry holiday calling times slightly.

  After that he took every 'privilege' he could off me to try to get to me.

  Our book study was in the KH.

  It got to the point one week were he took the study, read the paragraphs, did the roving mike and the sound all by himself.

  I took myself and my family off to another group study away from that nutcase after that..

  Could this be the end of JWs? What are the consequences if it is?

  multiple very serious allegations against tony and then huge efforts to remove him from all pictures and videos, have to admit it doesn’t look good.. once the pennsylvania investigation becomes public knowledge and front page news it will be very very hard for 8 million pimis.. is it possible that this could be the largest problem the branch has ever faced?

  larger than 1975, the overlapping generations or any other ‘test of faith’.

  many will feel heartbroken and betrayed.

  Is there any way to estimate the number of ex versus in? If there are approx. 8 million in, then how many ex are alive? Is there such an estimate?

  Aftermath of being Reinstated

  i'm in the process of being reinstated ( my df'ing story is on here).

  because i've never been in this position before, i don't know how i will be treated once i'm reinstated.

  i moved to a new city/state and i don't know a single person here or in my new congregation i am attending.

  I heard recently that a disassociated former jw asked the UK branch for all the info held on file about him.

  The branch wrote and said all the info about him was held by his former congregation.

  When he contacted his former congregation they claimed all his historical info was held by the UK branch... 🤷‍♂️
