There's a great opportunity for this to eventually hurt the WTS. At some point, an elder may report CSA to the proper authorities. And if the organization tries to punish him for it, they may be facing more than a potential civil suit from the former elder. It could possibly become a federal case. And that would be way more serious than any civil suit. I'd love to see WatchTower lawyers try some of their legal tricks against a DOJ investigation or court case.

Illinois Elders as mandatory reporters must undergo training
by Diogenesister inillinois now requires all elders as mandatory reporters to undergo state approved training every three years to ensure they fully understand their roles as mandated reporters.
this will include a pre training assessment, 60 - 90 mins of self paced, interactive training with a final assessment to ensure reporters understand their responsibilities.
following the course, mandated reporters must make a declaration that they understand their status as a reporter and will fully comply with mandatory requirements.

Annual Meeting 2022: Geoffrey Jackson: Why Jerusalem mattersem Matters

Didn't the WTS paint itself as the 'New Israel' or something along those lines? The idea was that there would be a spiritual Israel that would be God's new nation and His new people. Regardless of what happens in the Mideast, they can claim that they're the focus of any prophecies and of God's favor because they're the modern-day Israel, as far as Jehovah is concerned.

Do you believe in ultimate justice?
by Fisherman inultimate justice means that conduct is not inconsequential.
.

Conduct is always consequential, but we may not agree that the consequences were fair or just.
And our ability to rationalize decisions and outcomes can make that difficult to determine sometimes. Imagine a pair of young people who have sex out of wedlock and produce a child. They might use the trope of "anytime I look at my child, I know my actions were good/worth it/etc." But to many religious denominations, they have committed a grave sin and are potentially hell-bound.
But, what if the child grows up to be a great champion of justice, and finds ways to make the world a better place... do those religious people still feel that the parents are condemned to eternal suffering for bringing that person into the world? Or do they get a pass to Heaven instead? Is either of those endings just? What would be the ultimate justice in that scenario?

Tony Morris, Demonic Humanity, Annual Meeting talk
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/vktqyahg0tg.
there seems to be a difference of opinion between geoffrey jackson and tonny morris on how to deal with their feelings towards worldly people.geoffrey jackson made a point to say in his talk that jesus wept for the wicked in jerusalem but following that bloodthirsty tony morris in his talk wants the demon stirred wicked humanity gone..

They exert control through fear. Talking about Jesus and Jehovah doesn't cause fear, it gives hope. So they need to keep Satan and demons in the front of the minds of the rank and file, so that they stay scared.

There isn't a fee involved in subscribing to a YouTube channel, and creators frequently will request that viewers subscribe. Subscribing is a button-click away and has no cost. Also, I bet a lot of people abandon their logins for any number of reasons or simply have so many subscribed channels that it's not easy to get their attention anymore unless your channel is massive.
So it's not unusual to see a channel with far more subscribers than video views. I figure that a lot of people don't support his YT channel anymore, but since there's no cost involved, they don't remember to unsubscribe.

It strains credulity to put forth the idea that the same God who wishes for all to be saved is only going to save a fraction of a fraction* of humanity when he finally sorts things out.
*Literally! Those three religions combined are around one-half of a percent of the current human population.

Who is God's ONLY channel?
by BoogerMan inaustralian royal commission solicitor: “do you [the governing body] see yourselves as god's spokespeople on earth?”.

I'm assuming that he answered that way because he wanted to avoid falling into a potential trap if he gave the honest answer. Which should be embarrassing for him and the GB. Don't they teach that JWs must be ready to give a truthful and faithful testimony, even in the face of persecution or at risk of their safety? When given a chance to do so, Jackson slapped his fellow GB members across the face by calling them presumptuous, lol.
The sadder thing is that the others are not offended by this. They know why he lied and they support it, even though they would threaten rank-and-file JWs with disfellowshipping if they were to act so cravenly as to deny the authority of the GB.

Will Ukraine win?
by Fisherman ini was under the impression that it was going to be a short war, that russia’s military would indeed subdue ukraine’s forces quickly but that is not happening.
seems that russia’s military power is much less than it’s reputed to be.
no guess how it will all end..

At least for the moment, I can't imagine Putin agreeing to anything that would end the war aside from Ukraine surrendering. To lose would be to hand a victory to Ukraine, which would be intolerable after all of the justifications he gave to the Russian people. It would also be a victory for NATO, which would likely continue sanctions and do anything else --short of military action-- to rub his nose in his defeat.
I think it will be a war of attrition, quite possibly right to the very end. So it would be a matter of who runs out of fighting men first. And in the end, both countries will have suffered damage and losses that will take decades to recover from. Even in victory, this could spell the end of Russia as even a moderately powerful nation.

He wasn't really angry that people thought he was using a green screen. He just takes every opportunity to claim that he's being persecuted. "They said I'm using a green screen! See how they use lies to hurt me! It totally invalidates everything else in that forum!"
I still think he should use the green screen to present his next video as if he's doing a live feed from the vibrant streets of Phuket after dark.
