For those of you who still respect the Bible, Which translation/s are you using now? Why?

I like elements of the New World Translation. But my "go to" bible is "The Bible from 26 Translations."

NWT both newer and previous versions. Magnificent!

I also use the Equipped app.

Many, as always. NWT is biased, specially when it forces the induction of God’s name into the NT without any reason for that.

ESV which we irreverently refer to downunder as the “Eastern Suburbs Version”!

At church we, like most here Downunder, use the NIV

I use the NIV as well. It's our " pew Bible " as in the one available for folk to use during services to follow the readings if they wish to .

I wouldn't say I don't 'respect' the Bible as such, I just don't think it is inspired by a God or Gods. There's ome good and awful stuff in it.

However, I have the old family Bible passed down to me which is a very old KJV. That's my fave.

I like the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB), English Standard Version (ESV) and New English Translation (NET) - all with footnotes.

I prefer using various translations along with a Greek concordance - https://www.blueletterbible.org/

However if pushed, I'd have to say my favorite translation is The 2001 Translation - https://2001.bible/ which is not featured on the BLB site.

I usually go to biblehub.com if I want to read it or find specific passages. I prefer the NIV and ESV.
