Sarah Whiley died of severe injuries after being attacked near North Stradbroke Island, east of the Queensland state capital, Brisbane.
Senior Sergeant Ray Rohweder of Queensland Police said the girl, who was swimming with a group of friends from a church group and was approximately 15 metres offshore when she was attacked. She was pulled underwater for about five seconds then emerged and called out "Shark!". Initially some people thought she was joking but realised it was an attack when they saw her blood. Whiley was airlifted to a Brisbane hospital where she had to have both arms amputated just below the elbow, according to a Queensland Rescue Helicopter spokesperson.
She also suffered deep wounds to her legs and torso, the spokesperson said. The spokesperson added that the severity of Whiley's injuries indicated she may have been attacked by a group of bull sharks, a species known for aggressive behaviour this time of year. One woman described how she and her husband at first believed she was drowning before they realised she was being attacked by sharks. She said she tried to help the woman out of the water but her arm had already been severed and she ended up grabbing at the bone.
Police officers were searching for the sharks and had closed several nearby beaches. -

i decided to learn how to make crepes.
today, i made some crepes with spinach, artichokes, cheese and sausage; some with cream cheese and jam; peach crepes, chicken and cheese......... i got an electric crepe maker, it's so easy to use!

My 4 year old loves to help make the crepes! She has such fun getting her apron on, using a spatula, letting me know when the crepe is ready, etc.

Does the word "Jehovah" cause you anxiety?
by undercover inso i was listening to the radio and an old grateful dead song was on.
"the music never stopped" was the song.
i haven't heard the song in a while and i was bebopping along to the music when the lyrics "they're a band beyond description, like jehovah's favorite choir" was sung.. i kinda just froze for a split second and lost my breath.

Here in Southern California there are many beaches that have hook-ups, so you can park on the beach and have all your 'creature' comforts of home right with you!! For me, Teryn will get her adventure of camping and being at the beach and bike riding with Mommy but I won't have to worry about putting up a tent, getting all dirty or doing without my snuggly bed!!
Can't wait to go to work today. I already called the lady last night and told her I would have the money next week since I had chemo on Mondays and would not be at work til Wednesday ..........
