  Casting Out DEMONS

  if someone believes they're being plagued with demons or they have problems with hauntings, things moving by themselves or hearing voices or footsteps, who they gonna call?

  i know they take demons very seriously, so who in the congregation do they go to when they need to bring out the big guns?

  do they try to handle it themselves or is this a job for the elders?

  When I was 14 years old I got involved in seances over a period of a few weeks. They do work. I couldn't explain the supernatural happenings. Scared me. Shocked me so much that I had to stop. I destroyed the glass and the glass board and alphabet on squares.

  This also gives me cognitive dissonance. Evil spirits but no god? Still not correctly sitting in the atheist position. Must be still agnostic.

  I believe what ever is out there in the way of evil spirits is also related to ufo's.

  The small number of unexplained ufo sightings which amount to about 5%, are called residual ufo sightings. They seem to be related to people who engage in occult activities like seances tarot cards ect. In these cases, these people seem to have continuous experiences whith these sightings and may even become traumatised by them. As if they are being harrased.

  from facebook:just saw my jw mother after not seeing her for more than 2 years.

  when i do see her, it is brief, she never asks about my life, doesn't ask about my 4 children her grandchildren, doesn't ask about my grandchildren...her great grandchildren, she doesn't ask about my other 2 brothers that she is also alienated from, she doesn't ask about my brothers family.

  she doesn't talk about the jw/org either.

  This is some heavy shit. After the borg collapses, there will have to be a lot of mental health professionals on hand to heal the suffering. Especially the elder people who would find it hard to adapt to reality.

  found this little gem when going through the daily texts.... so let me get this straight.... god knows your suffering really badly and wants to help.

  he knows you feel like you're at your limit, but he also knows that you are not really - that you can handle some more suffering.

  so instead of helping, he "patiently" waits till you are at your absolute limit, and only then does he help!?.

  That's what caused my cognitive dissonance. I prayed and prayed. No answer. I didn't get anywhere spiritually. I talked to the elders. They had no answer for me. I went through a deep depression even though I was on antidepressants. That is when I started to research the internet. Problem solved. Thanks jehovah.

  at a bible study when i was younger i read this scripture out loud and totally did with a straight face realising what they were talking about halfway through it.

  i think i start reading in verse 12 "when evening falls, he should wash with water, and then he may return to the camp at sunset.+ 12 a private place* should be designated for use outside the camp, and there is where you should go.

  13 a peg should be part of your equipment.

  Why don't all religions lose their tax-free status?"

  All religions and large companies that find loopholes to dodge paying tax. This would free up the middle-class being taxed at the highest rate giving less pressure to work longer hours and have more family time and recreation.

  today i saw in the local newspaper in skagit valley washington a local man was sentenced to prison for child pornography.

  at firat i wasn't i terested in the article until i saw the defendants name.

  Back to the topic now. Yes the imaginary Jehovah is a rapist because everyone here, their mind was raped with delusional beliefs. So much that many suffer from ptsd. Rape victims usually suffer from this condition. If it wasn't for the knowledge of TTATT and support from this forum or a therapist, many would have a range of mental disorders like suicidal ideation, fear,depression, guilt. Just to name a few.

  The Bible is an evil book. The writers of it should have been crucified.

  Yes god is a rapist. An imaginary rapist.

  Biblical incidents that bothered me.

  i wanted to discuss the (supposed) biblical events that disturbed me a lot when i was a jw.

  these incidents were just read and discussed in the kingdom hall as if these are normal and justified, which clearly weren't.

  perhaps this led to my awakening.
