About my trip to Vegas

well, like i said we stayed at the luxor hotel and it was amazing.

the egyptian theme was breath taking.

i played blackjack and some slots while we were there, won some lost some, but ultimately lost.

there was a quake here at 9:00 this morning and just now (12:30) the building i am in has been shaken ... the chair i am on was actually moved back and forth by it several times and you could feel yourself being swayed back and forth.

i'm on the second floor of a 4 story building.

I live in Lincolnshire Uk, and I am sure I have felt Hundreds of quakes, strange though, they only ever happen when I am on my way out of the pub.

Must be unstable ground here hm ?

i have been searching for a job since march, and finally got one waiting tables at a pool hall.

they fired me today due to "pushing" someone that i asked to excuse me.

then i was told that my "attitude" was a reason.

About Bullying

for those who questioned how to handle a bully.

I was bullied at schoolby a group of boys, on a regular basis until i smacked 3 of them in the head with a sweeping brush, after that it stopped.

Maybe it was not the correct psycological approach, but it sure worked !

Not Everyone Celebrates Halloween!

i got this in my email today from my zealot jw aunt.

this is the first time she has ever sent me anything of this nature.

she is completely aware than i am not a jw and that i celebrate holidays.

Jehovah gave us the gift of Free Will. As I do not want to insult Jehovah by making little of His gifts, I choose to celebrate holidays. Many holidays are cross culrural, as are many other things in religion, for example, the name ' Jehovah ' was invented by a catholic monk, but just because it is catholic, that does not mean that I should not use it in honour of Him.
