who would look down on others and treat people like crap.. without giving to much away, i experienced one that knew everyone in circuit.
and if she or her husband saw or heard something they didn't like it was " you know what the bible says" regardless if it was in there or not.

just as an outlier: when Jesus issued the instruction for the "Our father prayer" (Cath)
he was talking to people who were not "anointed". he did not say your : "future adoptive father" , or "father in law" . by the same token,
he passed the bread and wine, according to wt practise reserved for the "anointed", as an outward mark of their status, to the same people, who were not "anointed"
wt confuses the new covenant, with the kingdom covenant. really sloppy concordance reading.
They do not baptise new members in the "name of the father" either.
JWs are taught to wait for the future, slave on, their present live, unfulfilled, belongs to JWORG.

A 'typical JW' story
by joey jojo ini am friends with an elderly 'worldly' woman, who was unaware i am an ex-jw.
she employs a jw husband and wife pioneer couple for odd jobs around her house- mowing, cleaning etc.
the couple has been working for her and her recently deceased husband for years.. just before the 2019 international convention, despite the fact that the husband was fighting his last battle with illness, the couple kept asking him to attend the convention with them.

Changed From "Disfellowshipped" to "No Longer One of Jehovah's Witnesses!
by Atlantis ina friend is trying to figure out the approximate date or letter, which indicated a change from the wording of public announcements.. they changed from saying the person has been disfellowshipped to saying that a person was no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.. i thought it was around the time of the bulgaria scandal.. could you help us out to remember when this change took place?
if we could remember the approximate year, we could look up all the boe's for that year and might find the letter.. many thanks!.

Today's watchtower study reiterated, that here is no resurrection for A & E because they deliberately sinned. (were deliberately deceived.) but
did they not die for their sins? so are now even steven. so: why would they not qualify for another chance to work on it with knowledge, hindsight?
Wt writers deliberately put forth anti-biblical prophecies, even predictions, if/when they die, would they not qualify for a second chance too?
Some of the examples in the article could die 3 times, lie Lazarus et al, died once adamacly, died again because of inherited "sin", would be resurrected, and could rebel "after the thousand years are ended" , and die then finally for good or bad.
That is a bad story , 2 resurrections, 3 times paying for your "sins" and still a goner.

where in that, does " on probation" come in? somebody that could convince the elders that she was already repentant enough? without being subjected to the loving provision of disfellowshipping?
