My dental theory
by The Fall Guy inwhile enjoying one of my favourite snacks the other day, (hula hoops) i suddenly had this thought; if ever a metal nut is hard to loosen with a wrench, usually a a couple of sharp hits with a hammer is enough to break the grip of whatever is holding it - usually rust.
similarly, crunching on foods which can impart small shockwaves to a capped tooth could have the same effect and cause the hardened dental cement to fracture and loosen the crown.

I know of only one case in San Fransisco where dog owners were convicted in the correct manner of the damage they caused.
Victim protection first. Dog owners should be criminally responsible for fright, injury and death their pets cause. Then civil damages. Even if the particular animal never showed aggressive behaviour, put the owner on trial, even if it was their baby that died.
JWs going in the service are already victims, they do not deserve to face double jeopardy.

Strange Justice
by watson inmy ex-god had an unusual sense of justice.
you see, his human son broke the law.
so, my ex-god thought there needed to be some form of justice.

Billions and billions died because of one theft by a blood relative, (actually possession of stolen goods. [or swallowing it to destroy evidence])?
Then you have to have another half-blood killed to annul the theft's effects? before you could say, hey, , ok , I was just running a test, a set up, a trap a sting?

So an uneducated person rails against education
What do you mean by uneducated don't be demeaning, he has a degree in gastronomy (serving on tables) not astronomy tabulations.
Don't underestimate the Austrians, a budding artist from there almost started started his millennium, history has a way to repeat itself. well, he started it, but it did not last 12, had no overlapping generation.

countdown to darkness
by waton inif you want to experience the impact of an historic event, go and visit the next stark darkening, the eclipse in 2024. to be precise, ~1969 days away.
the countdown also will take you, like an anti-daily text, through wt history as a retro prophecy a day for a year.
ha ha.

That's what someone does when they think they are revealing hidden secrets from the bible through their own predictions
basically that what wt did since the 1870 ies. The eclipses though, see a crowd of people that trust science, have not been disappointed, except clouds coming in the way.
looking at the days left until the next one, is great to look at what new wt light really was. 1966 dte today.
Yes, the close match of the Moon and Sun apparent sizes could be an art, decoration, a non-biblical message from the creator. No other bodies in the solar system have that surface view apparent ratio.
7 Salems? pieces of peace? well, during the last eclipse, Trump was president and now he is a candidate for the Nobel peace price.

Bible sacred just because it was thought sacred in the past by their predecessors.
so true, I should have called the topic about the eclipse:
Countdown THROUGH darkness

It was a truly emotional event, I watched with a 'great crowd' of people gathered
Highly recommended. If you did not know better, you would have thought to be back in bible story times when miracles like talking snakes happened.
Cant wait to pass dte* 1942, 1925 (the princes appearing) 1918 (millions never dying talk), 1914 the world ending rapture.
*dte days to eclipse.

1968-9, the year wt printed that it would be appropriate that the Millennium should start in 1975.
The jays did not think so. but you can count on it, the countdown ~ 1969 days to go. It will not be the end of the world, but look like it. True prophets exist, in science. You can count on it.

Death
by Charles Gillette ini often wonder about death.
no one has any idea, do they?
people have speculated since the beginning of time but each original concept of the hereafter as been absurd as the one before.

I am at least 17 years older, the doctor told me I have max 30 years to go, because a few huladies (not men) have lived to be over 120. I like talking to old people like me, and I do not see anxiety, but more serenity there than among the young. really. Glad that pain has been conquered (thanks medics all). Even in situations where I could have died, I do not remember suffering about the dying part.
Death I see as a step of life: tired after a mission accomplished. Our part: to advance life, the contribution to bettered genes, (or not) added knowledge. Being a parent, having reaped those rewards.
Death, a fitting conclusion to that period of consciousness we had. Imagine if we did not have the good sense to accept that! this planet clogged with 180 billion hanger -oners.
Could a creator that made the universe do something to extend, or recreate [y]our existence somewhere else? well, he has demonstrated a successful first run. So, why should he?
Life is great, one's death should be too. Urging the new life bearers into the future.
