Knorr could have giving himself a title it would have been "King"
nb: Knorr is the trademark of major food company. he could have given himself the title of CHEF, "chief" (chieftain like in Ezekiel), "chef "in french. almost left a typo with a "t". would have been slander.

The non-jw father , a Pharmacist, had asked that first court to curtail his former wife's wt activities, particularly the h2h time, and the single judge had agreed, but the 3 appeal court judges disagreed with wt. The prejudice against wt is not personal, it is universal.
no doubt this has been discussed before, but if the 1975 event had never happened where would watchtower be now.

it would have 10s of thousand less members, because there was a huge boost through sincere jws taken wt pronouncements seriously. It also steeled the deceived ones against further wt mayhem like the overlapping.
wt will never shake the stigma of being false speculating prophets, putting up trial balloons, being loons.

To be fair. John MacEwan is not implicated in any sexual wrongdoing, but only as an elder in that place at the time. Perhaps not even involved in this particular case. the way I read it anyway.

It is the only "charitable" activity that wt can claim, provided free by, and tabulated from the members, totally unrelated to the incoming cash flow. reported monthly to fool the governments tax men.
in natural calamities, everyone (despite one’s faith) is affected.
when one denies god’s existence, he experiences no punishment from him.
when one worships him, he receives no special favor from him.
a God that fits the image of what we expect of him?
Ds: in my case, not so much what we expect of him, but in accord with the record in nature, that the past allows us to draw on, although because of last month's pre- eclipse experience, I would go one step beyond that.
