  You should have asked about the closet memorial partakers and not the closest to partakers.

  There are at least 2-3 times the people that do it private than in public. For various reasons, mainly that wt's idea of communion is wrong John 6, etc.

  Need some research help

  so i'm working on another (fictional) book project and i need some historical help.

  i came into the borg in 1973, just as they were starting the new elder arrangement.

  i know that before that there was a presiding overseer who (as i understand it) ran the show.

  under the congregation servant (position for life) were servant positions (now ms) , literature servant, accounts servant , magazine servant , in very small congregations these were held by sisters even. other ???

  JWs shunning other active JWs

  how many others have noticed how common it is for active jws to ostracize and shun other active jws?

  as far back as i can recall, jws have had an ongoing problem with cliques within congregations, and special needs talks would be given from time to time to address that trend.

  but, it seems to me that the practice has become even more pronounced with entire congregations actively shunning other congregations.

  It is actually the other way around, will you rise to the occasion and vouch for them? because the Great Tribulation (with the anointed already in heaven), comprises the judgement of the "sheep" and the "goats" . If you were a "little one" in their eyes, maybe in Jesus' eyes these shunners will be of no importance to him too (he will judge the way they are judging), so--, bye bye, clic judgers,-- for good.   Anyone recall someone disfellowshipped for gluttony???

  gluttony seems to be a sin that jw's like to ignore .there are several scriptures that point out that gluttony is a sin, proverbs 23:20-21 "do not join those who gorge themselves on meat".....also i read somewhere that 1% is the number of disfellowshipped jw's each year......how do prove someone is a glutton and not just a person who love food???

  only what can be proven on a piece of paper.

  Morpheus, and that piece of paper is not the bill you see when you leave an "all you can eat" buffet restaurant. The amount is always the same, but: The amount of food that can be devoured in these places is astounding, 2 Prayer meals, to start giving thanks, when finished,--- asking forgiveness, for--- gluttony.

  Only bested by the habit of vomiting in the bathroom to have room to eat more. Size bsw, might be a hormonal issue, not only volume of food.

  Obese people seem to be already disfellowshipped from wt illustrations.

  the first girl i took notice of in any real sense of "notice" was a brunette named robbie.. i was in first grade, so i must have been six-years-old.. i had no idea why this particular girl caught my neurons and trapped them.

  adolescence was a thousand miles away so it couldn't have been a sex attraction.

  The French kiss that is a first: In the 50s, I listened to a radio program teaching French to anglophones. He tried to get across the pronunciation of the "ue" sound like in "ueber".   i am pimo but attended the r.c yesterday for family pressure reasons.

  a "sister" i've not seen for a while told me her husband is overjoyed because a man he called on recently in the field service suddenly told him he wanted to attend the r.c.

  the unusual thing is, this man is a millionaire having built a property portfolio.

  i'm taking a university astronomy course, and i must say it's really fun to read about this field.

  anyway, i remember the jws used to use jupiter (and probably still do) as an example for how unique and special our solar system is (and thus designed) -- namely, that jupiter protects the earth from astroids, comets, and meteors.

  convincing if one doesn't know any better, especially circa 1994 when jupiter stepped in front of a comet for us... but this isn't the full story!

At morning, and evening on Jupiter, the Sun sets normally, but around noon The sun appears to be standing still, because as the planet moves forward the spin of the same speed, carries the observer standing on the "surface" an equal amount backward. Noon heat intensified.
