  The 4 Horsemen - Cartooned Watchtower White-Wash

  the watchtower (no.3 2017) bangs an old, very tired drum in its efforts to stir up interest in the "meaning" of the 4 horseman of the apocalypse.

  it joins a cluttered stage of drummers - present and past - who claim to have the final and true word about this psychotic vision of 2 thousand years ago.. if you can get passed a casual, eye-rolling read, you'll note some changes in this latest regurgitation - with some astonishing changes given what is left out.. here's what i spotted:.

  soothing words about claimed cataclysmic events (e.g., "[the vision] is not designed to scare you.

  this was discussed in last week's "kingdom rules" closing part of the mid week meeting.No wonder the Church and provincial government were mad at the witnesses, and trying to drag the rest of canada into the attack . The rank and file bore the brunt of the heat. Great spirit directed work for the "Prince of Peace" ruling since 1914.

  when i finally figured out this was not the truth it was nice to know i wasn't the only one - it was a surprise to learn how many there are.

  finally left: great activity with which to shake off the wt . In a waltz, the whole world seems to revolve around you *, and not around the org. In the turning, your husband sees you as the center, watching you from all directions too. Do you change partners? or abide by the rule of only dancing with your mate? I hate to see you bedazzled by the likes of the likeable Fred Astaire, probably fleet footed in more than one sense. I always asked release from that constraint to be able to ask the heaviest lady in the room to waltz. why? It made me orbit around her stable bulk, and gave me the illusion of having the Astaire- like mobility, and, since I am partial to small waists (an asset to get a good dancing hold) from straying feelings, ah, memories of the time of youth*. hope you will have pleasant recollections of your journey, have a ball.

  Asking a Jew about the Name "Jehovah"

  jehovah's witnesses...that's the trademark of the religion, the use of the name "jehovah.

  " if there is anything jws and non-jws can agree on is that this one thing sets them apart from everybody else.. i have only had witnesses come to my door less than five times since i left in the 1990s.

  i guess they don't work the territory i live in often, or perhaps after that first time (which was still after the year 2000) they have marked the words "jew who knows a lot" or something in their notes on my address.

  The story of "jesus" seems to fit this meandering saga, because there, he is recorded as never having uttered the 'name' in his personal talks with the deity, although according to the nwt, he even quoted " Jehovah" in his rebuttal of "satan's" temptations., calling "Jehovah" satan's god!
