  question for those who either aux pioneered pioneered

  how many of you would have spent the hours "pioneering" if it weren't for the pats on the back and being looked up to as someone special in the congregation?

  i will admit that back in late 1970's i attempted to aux pioneer during a campaign because it was promoted and seemed the right thing to do,but i didn't get the hours and it was stressful trying to...and i didn't feel like a cheerful giver.

  i never attempted it again.

  Full believer here, hitting the ground running in 1957, the bible message of the peaceful world imminent, destruction of warmongers, warriors and their war crimes, had to be heard by all, with cuban missile crises confirming the urgency. Started Pioneering 6 month after baptism, "specialed" in foreign language field 6 month later.

  we were paid 45.- ffor 150 hours, no extras for clothing, car or accommodation.

  The whole thing unravelled with the sh---- coloured "--- let every man be a liar book" , and the "superior authorities" flip flop.

  Gave wt one more chance up to 1975, my last pioneer year. pathetic false prophets.

  No regrets, the deity can not say we did not try, innocent like doves. but

  feel sorry for the born ins, whose possible brilliant lives, advances were stymied by wt's criminal anti education stance. ( and their parent's desire to hang on to elder positions at all cost)

  Watchtower looses Norwegian Appeal

  watchtower has just lost its appeal in the norwegian courts over the withdrawal of the funding it receives from the government as an officially recognised religion.

  the initial decision will now stand due to what the court termed 'exclusionary practices' which includes the witnesses barbaric practice of shunning minors, even by family members in their own homes.

  the ministry of children and families have decided they are now no longer eligible for the state grant of 16 million norwegian kroner given to officially recognised religions.. the following is a statement has been issued, i have summarised if it isn't readable: .

  Have JW `s ever faced the topic of Jesus having inherited Adamic sin ?

  according to the bible all humans male and female have inherited sin because of adam and eve`s disobedience to god .. god may have impregnated mary with a life force , however it was still sinful mary who gave birth to jesus after nine months in her body who is /was supposedly without sin ?.

  mary must have passed on some of her sinful state to jesus having been in her womb for the past nine months , surely.

  and there is nothing in the bible / scripture to say otherwise ?.

  good question. The masculinity in "Jesus" seemed not to be strongly expressed, compared to his ancestors "David" and "Solomon" with known "conquests" at 1000+.

  The only funny story is the episode with the Samaritan lady at the well, and then spending 3 nights in that city, minus his male companion chaperones. .
