Actually, I wonder if this is a reflection of how dumbed down JWs are expected to be, and the general apathy of people in general toward religious messages now. I mean, 30 years ago or more, you were expected to be able to Defend Your Faith™ while in the Door-to-Door™ Ministry™. Now, it's just Click Here, Shut The Fark Up and Listen.

My jw mum threw us out.
by abbasgreta inmy brother (non-jw but became a christian 6 months ago) and i nursed my aged jw mother back to a semblance of strength over the last three weeks.. the elders were happy to pass the buck on to me, her da'd daughter and my bro.. he has been living with her for 3 months and has transformed her ill-kept home and garden and literally nursed her like a professional alone.
before i stepped in to help him care for her.
he repeatedly told her how much he loved her and was so caring, it brought a lump to my throat.. he has been going to church sunday mornings, telling her he 'was meeting up with friends' so as not to cause friction.but she knew where he had been.. we noticed a shift in her demeanour towards us (she knows i'm a church-goer) over the week-end and she started to.

It's time for the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses™ to put their money where their mouth is, and show your mother exactly how Loving™ they really are (NOT!). I reckon she'll be in for some disappointment, but it was her wish that you leave her home after nursing her back to health, and you have to abide by her wishes. It's sad and terrible the way your family has been torn apart, but she will have to realize that there are consequences to her actions.

A question for Athiests.
by new hope and happiness ini am now an athiest myself, but i think being an athiest its a bit like having a faith.
some get very hooked on it and "preash" others (like me) simply get with with there lifes.
i am sure that some athiests like to have discussions about the non existence of " god" in a similar way that "thisists" do about the existence of god.

by Lady Lee ini was given the link to a bit of information regarding on old poster/moderator of this forum.
i was not sure of the validity of the information so have been trying to find out if it is true.. earlier today craig's estranged wife, kate, (bikerchic) confirmed that craig died at his home on aug 10, 2011.. i am sure that many people here remember craig's time here and how he went out of his way to offer support to posters, even calling them, to give whatever help he could as they adjusted to their post-jw lives.. i know many people here will grieve his loss.. --------------.
