  Prophecy in Daniel: A last Fierce-looking King

  there is an unfulfilled prophecy in daniel about the last king that will be broken without human hand.

  the prophecy says he will be fierce-looking, deceptive, efficent in his doings, smart and causing ruin to many.

  and he will exalt himself.

  i would think the only christian organization on this planet would be more than willingly send another gb member to australia in order to answer rcs questions, taking the place of jackson who is taking care of his ill farther.

  if someone should show compassion to jackson those are his gb pals.

  Are You Raising An Introvert?

  its not easy being an introvert in an extrovert worldespecially when youre a kid.

  it is even more difficult if none of the adults in the kids life recognize that the child is an introvert.

  this doesnt happen only when the childs parents are extroverts, but also with introverted parents who have never understood their own introverted nature.. .

  Many thanks for this thread reappearing. Need to read it all from the start again. Many years ago I had an elder tell me that I had to be an extrovert to be a succesfull JW. My first thought: so you can't be a JW and be an introvert?

The intellectual chasm is wide. It is painful at times to watch, and I say it would be good medicine for the uneducated elders, but some lessons fall on deaf ears.

  Do you think Ron or the others will bother to review their performance? Maybe they could get some pointers from the Theocratice Ministry School overseer. I am guessing that if they couldn't bother to review any of the available evidence before they showed up, they probably won't watch the video of their appearance. If they did, and they were normal people, they would have to kill themselves. But we know they are not normal people. They probably thought they won the debate.
  

  I can't wait until some of the branch people get their turn. Let's see how long their smugness lasts with Mr. Stewart.

  @Cofty: you would think stuff like that would haunt you forever. Maybe it happens too often to be memorable. Or, there could be another reason. Or both. Towards the end of that video, I wanted to put his head in a vise to help refresh his memory. But that's just me...

  my wife and i planned on fading but the elders now want a shepherding call and we are just done.

  i know that many play the game to try to stay in, but i'm not a game player and neither is my wife.

  our families already shun us because we reached out to a disfellowshipped family member.

  I have a slightly different spin for possibly wanting to do this. In general, I agree with the fact that I don't have to do anything. I'm done. But, I want to be able to tell the people in my community (small village in Poland) that I am not one of them any longer and show them my 'resignation' letter.

  Ron got totally owned. Check out the moment at 32 minutes in. After reading the scripture from Deut about 2 witnesses, the Judge asks him about the context. Busted... It is all downhill from there.

  AUSTRALIA - All large JW Regional Conventions cancelled for 2015

  now we know why the governing body of jehovah's witnesses cancelled all the major regional conventions of jehovah's witnesses for 2015 and are only holding smaller conventions at the jw assembly halls.

  interestingly the first round of regional conventions are due this weekend in the jw assembly halls in sydney (new south wales), melbourne (victoria), and brisbane (queensland).

  Also a stroke of luck that they changed the label from District Convention (DC) to Regional Convention (RC) some time back. Now, when someone asks where is Brother Bigstuff, his handler can honestly say he is at the RC (Royal Commission).
