i came across this weird blog that castigates fading jws for their "cowardice" and "hypocrisy" for not making themselves vulnerable to shunning.

Good catch SBF. It's just like when you hear time and time again ones saying that if you don't want to be a Witness just leave, no one's stopping you, no one's holding you hostage. As soon as you point out the result is ruined relationships with friends and family they then say it's the fault of the person for wanting out, they only have themselves to blame.
whether it's videos on jw broadcasting or pdfs on jw.org, all downloads used to be archived in-house at "assets.jw.org/" followed by the items name/code.
now clicking a download link retrieves the items from akamai.net, a web services company..
AJ - they have been using outside contractors on building projects, including halls, for a while now. They even have an article about it on JW.org at the moment
