So if the idea is promoted that God doesn't want anyone to be destroyed, why does he make it so confusing for people to learn about him?

Why are there thousands of differing religions?

Why has "his only true organisation" even taught so many varying doctrines?

Why does he leave the message of salvation to be spread by such a small group?

Even better - if he doesn't want us destroyed, why destroy us at Armageddon?

I still say if God wants us to listen to somebody he should write it in the sky. Write it in some miraculous way that emits light and doesn't move away day or night, but is constant 24 hrs a day. Leave it for a month. It would be covered on every news outlet in the world. Billions would see it. It would never be forgotten.

We must blame Adam for that. Just think you could be dating a woman or man

4-5 thousands years old, that surely open up the dating pool. It may be little crowded

here on earth but what the hell. The plane was to thin out the herd every thousands of years.

The truth He had know plan, he wanted to see how long we could survive on our own and just

for good measure he gave us the bible to really screw us....

Great points! Also, why does the bible say god hardens peoples hearts, like Pharaoh, which ultimately led to his army's, and possibly his own death in the red sea?

What about the teaching that those who live in ignorance of god's will will survive Armo? Then be taught and judged. So basically, by preaching, we're setting up people for execution. Why not just not preach?

"those who live in ignorance of god's will survive Armo", that's about 3/4 of

the earth population, so billions will be saved.

I believe the inter net has become more powerful than Jehovah's Holy Spirit.

Would this be consider an oxymoron, don't listen to JW's and you will be saved.

The reasoning from the Watchtower organization is that if a person has the right heart condition, Jehovah will direct that individual to his earthly organization. All the confusion of religion will be lifted from his/her eyes because God will have "drawn that one to Him." In this way He demonstrates that He wishes no one to be destroyed.

Jehovah's loves each and every one of... *hack* ... us and sends His servants out into the world to do the separating wor.... *choke*.... k so that we all have a chance to turn our wicked ways around.... *gag* .... and follow the governing body to salvation.

The God of the bible is like the wife who gets upset with her clueless/emotionally unintelligent husband for saying/doing/not doing something and starts giving him the silent treatment and does not tell him exactly what it is he did wrong but expects him to know what it is and apologize for it or else he's doomed to sleeping on the couch for all eternity.

The God of the bible has distanced himself from imperfect humanity for something their forefathers did and expects them to find exactly the right religion out of thousands without telling them which one it is and if they don't, he condemns them to eternal torment in hell or annihilation (depending on which religion you guess he's working with)

    With God it is simple:

    Paul quotes Genesis 15:6 twice.

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (Romans 4:3 KJV)

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. (Galatians 3:6 KJV)

And James quotes Genesis 15:6 once.

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. (James 2:23 KJV)

As Jehovah's Witnesses we chose not to believe God:

      1. In that the New Covenant was only for other people

      2. That we could be good enough to earn salvation

      3. We made the Watchtower Oranization our savior instead of christ alone.

Salvation by faith predates the Old and New Testaments, though both are very useful in illuminating the proper object of faith, and it has never been an organization - just God.
