  Two virgin births in the Bible, who knew?

  in the famous verse from mathew chapter 1 verse 23 i believe the writer proclaims that mary a virgin was going to give birth to a son he would be called emmanuel.

  he even stated this was to fulfill a prophecy.

  thats prophecy is in isaiah chapter 7:14. .

  Evidently he was referring to the eight headed snake Yamata no Orochi of Japanese mythology which finds its anti-type in the eight governing body members of Jehovah's Witnesses who all claim to be alien residents of earth.

  The Nihongi description of Yamata no Orochi (tr. Aston 1896:1:52-53) states:

  "It had an eight-forked head and an eight-forked tail; its eyes were red, like the winter-cherry; and on its back firs and cypresses were growing. As it crawled it extended over a space of eight hills and eight valleys."

  I got back from the memorial . . .

  it was pretty mundane for the most part, same songs, same outline.

  the only new thing they added was the video at the end, where stephen lett speaks to the visitors and commends them for coming and recommends they go to jwdotorg and also start a bible study.

  they also showed a bar graph with figures increasing every year for jws, memorial attendance and memorial partakers.

  Evidently the Pope is trying to comfort Cardinal Pell who has just spent four weeks going through 'hell' in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, Australia, over historical child sex abuse allegations.

  the watchtower society encourages jehovah's witnesses to read,examine, and learn from their older publications.examples:--------------------------------------watchtower/1999/10/1/pg.23"one day in about october 1941, while i was witnessing in themarketplace, someone spoke about a witness of jehovah who lived in anearby town.

  There are written instructions to the elders to first call the police ic they find vandalism or damage at a Kingdon Hall. If they contact the Watchtower Legal Department first they will be told to report it to the police.

  A broken window can be caused by vandalism or a bird hitting it or even a stone flicked up from gardening equipment. Regardless, call the police.

  In vandalism situations it is acceptable for elders to get the help of their wife or a sister to document the damage and help make a report. Why? Because it is a crime and a police matter. The 'two witnesses'becone the sister and brother who discovered the broken window, not who witnessed the window being vandalised.

  If a local xjw or apostate is known to have vandalised the hall in the past he or she can also reported to the police despite no 'witness.'
