No. The democratic process is the only constitutional "test" necessary. Any other exam would run again the will of the people. For now, Trump is president. Get used to it.
For checks and balances there is Congress, the court and the states.
i'm think with the president having the ability to use nuclear weapons the need for a psychological exam should be a must for world safety because of the very real damage an easily offended narcissist could do if in a narcissistic rage he had access to nuclear weapons.
since he has clearly shown he has all 100% of the signs that he is one,, surely he can be impeached over this even in conservative run house and senate.
i think the united states owes the world that precaution to not let a mad man have access to nuclear weapons.

so is he a witness or if not what are gb going to do about it since she identifies with the watchtower society?.
december 29, 2016 to all congregations re: donations in support of kingdom interests worldwide.
I have a hard time figuring out what the intent of this letter is.
Me thinks a reverse psychology of sorts; a way to ask for money, without really asking for money.
the elders in this area are getting burned out.
i have overheard comments that demonstrate this, but in my dealings with them, i clearly see it.
they can't keep it straight.
When I was in, I would literally feel that there was no way I could remember and/or accomplish all the demands of the assignment. It seemed there was a new set of instructions every week added to the already long list of things we had to do as elders.
there are two kingdom halls in two parts of the county i live in.
one is smaller and their are already about to begin work to replace with a new one.. just posting because i noticed posts saying their wasn't new khs being built.
and i learned this today from someone..
I totally disagree. People are in such denial about what's really happening! Again, the WT has a real estate business. They no longer rely on preaching and publications
They might be doing well currently with their selling off assets like no tomorrow; however, I believe that it was only out of desperation that they began doing so in the first place. This would explain why they had to do a 180 and lay off so much of their workforce, as well as beg for money.
Also, if what you say is true, then why would they have halted the majority of the construction work? Wouldn't it be in their best interest to continue building as quickly as possible in order to flip and sell the buildings? So the fact that they've halted so much work tells me that someone stepped on the emergency breaks.
Besides that, the real estate model is unsustainable. They can't survive long term without a constant inflow of new recruits, particularly from the wealthy countries. So all in all, whether you are right or I am, things are not looking great for WT long term.

Welcome back A Believer, how's your study going? It's been what? about 5 weeks of you studying now? Have you gotten to chapter 4 yet of the Bible Teach book? :)
Anyways, there is construction of a few halls here and there. It's true that construction hasn't stopped completely. However, if you are not aware, the GB originally said in an elder only meeting on Jan/2015, introducing the new LDC arrangement that there was an extremely urgent need to build and renovate thousands of Kingdom Halls in the US within the next few years.
Just a few months later, said plans to build and renovate KHs was put on hold. Here was the announcement Sam Herd gave:
Just a few weeks ago, another video was shown to the congregations in which it was said as "encouraging news" that 54 KHs had been built in the 3 years since the LDC arrangement was established. Nowhere near the 1000+ halls they originally claimed to need. Here is a link to that video that wifi bandit graciously shared:
Add to this the cuts of bethelite and special pioneers, the shrinking of the magazines sizes down to 16 pages, the magazines now being bi-monthly, the selling of bethel compounds, the consolidation of congregations in order to sell Kingdom Hall buildings, the constant asking for money, and you get a clear picture that things are not so well financially down at the supposed House of God.
the great bugaboo ( something that causes fear or distress out of proportion to its importance) of the jw’s is that you are wasting your time reading books..... and beware of what your reading.
after all you have the wt publications to read and study.
in a world of absolutes most of the jw teachings from it’s onset has been trashed by the wt society itself as old truth........ unfit for modern ‘new light’.
Really nothing has changed in all the years I've been going.
I thought you had only been studying for "a few weeks"?
i'll start with the first study article.. this study article deals with vows made to jehovah.
three main vows are discussed.. 1) your dedication to jehovah.
we are told that it is not possible to claim that our baptism was not valid .
some married Christians have viewed certain situations as a reason for separation, such as the extreme endangerment of one’s life or spirituality by an abusive or apostate spouse.
This is a pretty big deal. Has WT ever said before this that it's ok to leave a spouse because of his/her beliefs?
havent had an encounter with a witness in a while, almost 10 years, though at this point i could run circles around them in the scriptures, this encounter was very strange.
was eating with my son at a coffee shop, guy comes up using it as an opening.
i'm use to this because people find my son beautiful so i was open to him.

Is It Wrong to Change Religions?
w59 5/15 305-307 (bold mine):CHANCES are you did not choose the religion you profess but you inherited it from your parents. Comparatively few persons actually make their own choice of a form of worship. Most stay with the religion in which they were reared, very often being afraid to make a change even if dissatisfied. This is particularly so in communities that are predominantly of one religion. The person who makes a change may become the object of popular hatred and be deprived of the means of earning a livelihood.
But what should a person do when he becomes convinced that the religion he inherited is the wrong form of worship, that its teachings are untrue and that its leaders are blind guides who are leading him into the way of divine disapproval? Would it be wrong for him to go against the wishes of his parents and of the community by changing his religion? Or would it be wrong for him not to change? This is a serious decision, and certainly neither the opinions of others nor emotions should be allowed to influence it, because it has to do with his relationship with God.
...found this nugget last night on the CD. Ironic isn't it
A favorable relation with the Creator is of far greater importance than the favorable opinion of relatives, friends and neighbors. If a person’s worship is wrong, his eternal welfare is in jeopardy. But how is he to know whether his worship is right or wrong?
