things are changing so rapidly.

there is so much confusion now.. if we can talk to disfellowshiped/disassociated ones to invite them to meetings then is it really going to stop there?.

some family members haven’t had contact for decades and now after yesterdays new light they will all be getting calls.

All the therapy to move on with their lives and now from today all that trauma will be brought back.

I hope the dissed ones who are suddenly getting calls from today will tell them that they had to do a lot of work to move on with the knowledge that my family are never going to talk to me ever again and now you are talking to me?

it’s so confusing for those still in the cult and those who have had to deal with the trauma and now it’s all being brought back up.

the GB didn’t think this new light through, they should have consulted someone smarter before announcing it

With this new light now millions of JWs with loved ones they have been told to shun for years or even decades. Now they are told they can actually talk to them after all in some new light. Last night changed everything from today many many dissed relatives are going to be gets call.

officially just to invite them to a meeting but after all these years they will ask how they have been all these years?

These loved ones who have been shunned for years even decades have had to deal with immense trauma and have had to do a lot of work to get over it. Many of them will be getting calls now and this will undo all the work they have done to get over this trauma forgetting their family because they shunned them. This will bring back all that trauma

They had to accept their JW family won’t ever talk to them ever again and move on, some of these shunned ones have had to do a lot of internal work to move on with their lives.

Now the GB have new light from Jehovah and these ones all get connected again, it will bring back all the trauma that they did so much work to cope with

New light on shunning?

one theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.

he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .

what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.

Yes this is just the start. They are in panic mode.
To sum up where this man made organisation is heading “it’s upto your Bible trained conscience (accepting blood, xmas, sex outside marriage ect) and as to interpretation of scripture we just don’t know”
this will alleviate all future lawsuits but won’t be able to help with current lawsuits before this new light is announced.
JWs will become like most mainstream churches where members only go occasionally and don’t live upto what the church teaches but the religious leaders turn a blind eye otherwise they would lose most members.
if someone is breaking their rules they will have an announcement the elders are dealing with it, and that person will have shepherd calls asking what help they need
nobody will be shunned and those who were shunned will be begged to come back

the asl portion of the governing body updated #2 (march 2024) has been released a bit early and someone caught it.

New rules for dress & greeting disfellowshipped: It's even worse!

i know they're panicking and trying to gain favor with governments, former members, prospective converts & those who are teetering, all for financial worries.

still, the latest update in some ways made things worse, and if there's any jws watching it who are beginning to wake up it should be very disturbing.. starting with dress codes: they say that suits, ties & skirts are no longer required, but in so doing they admit that they were required, something not often appearing as an explicit command in print.

(similar to how lett referred to the "policy on beards" in his video, even though this direct policy wasn't made available to rank and file.

Elders now meet with all disfellowshipped every six months.

They are begging people to come back because the numbers are falling so much.

The slackening off of shunning rules means hardly anyone will be disfellowshipped anymore. They will overlook young ones who slip up and envying sun as long as they say they are sorry.

And they are begging all who have left the Borg to come back

Can you openly express doubts in the congregation these days?

i know of a lovely old sister who has been a jw for several decades now who openly expresses doubts about jw interpretations.. she does it in such a lovely way and everyone loves her.

she is such a sweet old soul, makes everyone happy around her.. she has said things like- even if we have got it wrong about this and that i still believe the bible is gods word”.

she answers up regularly and she goes on ministry groups but like most of us she is definitely jwlite, we don’t really do door to door work anymore.

According to the confidential elders’ manual “Shepherding the Flock of God”, that sentiment would technically constitute “apostasy”.

If you express doubts about the vaccine is that doubting the GB are who they say they are? If so then many many JWs including many elders are doubting the GB then they are all apostates?

Even expressing doubts that someone wishes they didn’t take so many of these vaccines as they have been bad for your health, that is doubting the GB direction? But many are indeed doing this

The new light is now that not only JWs but possibly many others will make it through but can’t be dogmatic we just dont know
