The paranormal.
by Lost in the fog ini know that a lot of the people on here have turned their backs on the idea of a deity deciding that god does not exist.
but what about the unseen spirit world generally such as poltergeists, jinns, voodoo, etc.
if you have become agnostic, atheist, or just don't care since leaving, do you think that there are spirits out there or have you decided that is also hokum?

I assume you are talking about James Randi. Hes nothing but a hoax and fraud. That's how he makes a living. He hasn't done the millionaire thing in some time. There is a reason.
For several decades this little show of his has been going on and many people including journalists and the media has bought heavily into this. Bystanders repeat exactly what Randi want them to repeat: ”But no one ever succeeded the tests, so it’s proven the paranormal doesn’t exist”, they claim. While this predictive programming has been going on Randi has travelled around the world giving lectures that cost over 10,000 USD each for a standup comedy-like appearance where he makes fun of people and researchers positive to parapsychology. There is in fact reason to suspect that ”The One Million Dollar Challenge” is a way to sell expensive lectures.

Getting Remarried after a spouses death & then they are resurrected after Armageddon ?
by LOLS inhi guys .
i was wondering about the above , if a jw is allowed to remarry if a spouse has died, then what happens when they are resurrected at armageddon, do u land up with two wives/husbands ,,,,,,, makes no sense to me & can the jw's be so dumb not to think about this or have i got it wrong ?
and i will not be asking my uber jw husband , don't have the energy.. thanks.

The universe as we know it continues forever. It would be really arrogant for humans to assume they are the only ones at play.
Even if I had never had witnessed certain things in my life. I would still believe in something else out there. It seems illogical not to.

Do You Watch Late Night TV ?

it was funny, well written and timely.
back in the day ,i used to watch arsenio hall and sometimes letterman and conan.

What was the last thing you said to your jw family?
by caves in7 years ago i had my last conversation with the toxic jw that mostly raised me.
every conversation was toxic for my entire adult life with her.
the last time we spoke was right before the memorial 7 years ago and she was laying on the usual heavy guilt and fear mongering about how jeho counts his people at the memorial.

Exelder- they are all given strict instructions never ever to inform any of my blood JW members if anything happens to me. They have lost the right to know anything about me now.
Same here. They do not deserve to know of my death, success, failures or anything about me. Nothing goes to them.
Im so stubborn on this that when my uncle died leaving me some cash. The jw bio-fam tried to get out of giving to me and also making me somehow "repent" if I wanted it. So I got an attorney, lol. That did it. They forked over the money so fast. I then gave all of it to a person that they completely destroyed ( to emotionally charged to go in depth). I totally threw it in there face to piss them off.
I would rather eat out of a dumpster than so much as have 10 cents from them. But I sure as heck dont mind pulling that maneuver and donating the money to a special individual that was destroyed in such a way that they will never be able to have a normal life or hint of it.

I once told an Elder that there was two "witnesses", Me and Jehovah. That didn't go over well. Funny he got disfellowshipped for molesting his daughter. The whole family were pioneers. He was always burning things he considered demonized. I guess he forgot to set himself on fire.
I hope his daughter recovered as much as possible.

If they set that in motion it would bring them down rather rapidly.
If they apologized it would put them on the same level as other "false religions" the R&F think they are above.
In near every congregation in nearly every place they are, this abuse goes on. If publicly made known in each place across the board, it would be catastrophic for the GB. They don't have that kind of money and their "attaching gods people due to the end" analogy would rip through the congs so fast it would make there heads spin. Im sure the GB knows this. And the laws and their money are still mostly in their favor at this time. Unfortunately, as others have stated.
