i've been studying with the jw's for about a year now.

i know that by nature (or nurture!

) i have an addictive personality so i have tried to be real careful that i'm doing the right thing by getting involved with them.

So you do not accept EVERYTHING the Watchtower teaches? From the colums of the magazine through which God provides direction? Yet you disagree or do not accept EVERYTHING from Jah?

If you conduct any serious analysis of Watchtower literature, and then listen to the words which come forth from YouKnow's mouth... you will then realize he is a hypocrite, liar, nuisance, and farce.

I would LOVE to hear that audiotape AK.

It is invaluable evidence in showing their lack of Christian love.

"FORCING other family members to shun you?"

Now THATS priceless.

The evidence would also show how unaccepting they are to other's beliefs, which is in direct contradiction to the propaganda they tell the general public.

The elders, who are "appointed" and represent Jah.. and in doing so should undoubtedly EPITOMIZE LOVE, do so by calling you an "Anti-Christ" in so many words simply because you disagreed on doctrine?

WHAT Kingdom Hall did Ya'll go to?

I was in Illinois Circuit 20

I attended Canterbury Congregation in Markham, Illinois (a south suburb of Chicago) for 18 years.

I then attended Hazel Crest Congregation in Tinley Park, Illinois for about six months before I DA myself. (4 congregations from 4 different towns attended this huge Kingdom Hall which also had the Circuit Overseer's Apartment BUILT onto the side as an attachment.)

Over the years as a JW, I visited a plethora of KH all over the Illinois area. Over vacations, I also attended KH in Florida, New York, and Texas.

There all the same uniform, cookie-cutter diagram. A different state, but very similar general setup. You will find the same load of BS anywhere you go.

Do You Love Telemarketers???

ok, i'm getting worn out from these guys.

i always tell them to never call again and some do take me off the list.

it seems they are getting more agressive.

Oh give me a break.

I worked as a telemarketer for 2 years from age 15 (work permit) to 17.

When they call and HARASS you repeatedly when you have told them you are NOT interested.

When they CONTINUE to try to sell their product after youve ALREADY said your not interested.

These people get just desserts.

Ask one if they want someone anonymously calling their home in the evening hour or on Saturday, and they would say NO. But theyve no problem disturbing someone else. I know.. I USED TO DO IT.

Memorial attendance down?

last night 3 congregations met at the assembly hall for the memorial.

there were just a little over 800 there which really surprised me.

in past years every congregation around here usually had at least 300 in attendance.

My local Kingdumb Hall was one of the most prominent and affluent in the South Chicago suburbs.

When I was an active Witness, we often had 350-400 packing the KH for the Memorial.

I for one think attendance IN REALITY is DOWN, even WITH 9-11.
I asked a friend who is still in for family reasons (gag) and he said about 265 showed up.

Im certain the Watchtower Bullshit and Trick Society will find a spin-tactic or just outright LIE to see to it statistics show an INCREASE in the number of attendees, and a DECREASE in the number of partakers to coincide with their doctrine.

Another year, another line of BS.

Do You Love Telemarketers???

I have fun with telemarketers.

Why not turn the tables on them???

Ive told them such far fetched stories you wouldnt believe it.

One time a carpet-cleaning service called. I said "OH MY GOD your timing is SOOOO PERFECT!!! Do you take blood stains out well???" he said Yes. I said "GOOD! You come over and help me get the blood stains off my carpet and couch, I walked in and caught my wife cheating and shot her and this guy in cold blood, and I wanna clean up before anyone else comes by"

I could tell from the get-go it was a kid on the phone. He absolutely freaked. He said "Let me get my supervisor and well have a van right over sir." I said "NOOOO its got to be YOU. YOU have to come over. Its OUR little SECRET."

Total silence for about 15 seconds.. then they hung up.

Phone rang back in about 45 seconds. It was the Supervisor with the Chicago Police on the phone. I explained I was bullshitting, and they sent over a patrol anyway to make sure, but hot damn it was funny.

Another time, I told them my Dad was on the Space Station Mir and wouldnt be returning.

Another time I told them my mother forsaked all material possessions and became a nun in a convent.

I told them recently my father joined the Taliban in Afghanistan because he was so angry at all the telemarketers who always called and believed all telemarketers should be dragged in the street and murdered.

Needless to say those places NEVER called back.

If they are going to harass you.. why not harass them back?

Just like the JW shunning, TWO can play that game.
