In contact with major news agency in Costa Rica. The Embassy claims to be working on the extradition of Michael J Norris to Law Enforcement representatives. According to the Embassy they are putting pressure on lawyers representing MJN to get him out of their country. They are concerned if plea relations break down that MJN will bolt. It is taking far too long and I am sketchy about CR officials but I have to trust what USA detectives are saying when they tell me it is just a matter of time and they have complete confidence they will apprehend him regardless of his cooperation.

Also communicating with Dateline in efforts to update their 2002 story of Jehovah's Witnesses and Pedophilia.

So the dog tags were a stretch. The family praying was all wrong. The quotes extracted above were spot on. A few Ex JWs would have polished the script. Yet this is how I was left feeling:

Watched a skater boy die on Grey's Anatomy tonight because his dog tags declared "Jehovah's Witness" meaning "no blood"
Over the past decade tens of thousands of JWs have perished because of the no blood doctrine and policy of JWs. What nobody knows is JWs can now accept blood in all its parts not allowed before and in a certain order as long as it is not labeled "whole blood", so all those previous deaths (10s of thousands)were unwarranted.
I shudder at the needless loss of life at the hands of 8 or so imperfect men(Governing Body) that claim to be the "mouthpiece of god" who make these erroneous policies that change with time and pressure from the outcries of humanists around the world that see them as the dangerous narcissists they are.

did I see jesus?

so we have had a bit of rain today.

but the sun peeked out and was setting to the west.

i stepped out to the front yard and saw on the top of the foothills at least 10 miles away what appeared to be a burning cross.

So we have had a bit of rain today. But the sun peeked out and was setting to the west. I stepped out to the front yard and saw on the top of the foothills at least 10 miles away what appeared to be a burning cross. It was on fire. The rest of the foothills completely black. Clear as day. Chills up and down my spine and goosebumps. I yelled for my family to come see and they saw it too. "It's the copper cross on the hill" "it's the sun reflecting on it" "It's decorations left over from Christmas"

Immediately I knew it was a utility pole being lit up by the setting sun. But I could not put aside its resemblance to a burning cross despite the fact I can now clearly see it has 2 other horizontal cross beams. I was raised not to believe Christ died on a cross but instead on a "stake" In my studies to date I can not say for certain that I believe in the Bible or Jesus anymore. Nonetheless, it is what it is and according to my daughter "maybe it is Jesus letting you know he's real?"

Thank God for Edison?

Seriously, I understand how we feeble humans latch on revelation and feelings of spiritual euphoria. I wonder what it all really means.

Several Sites Are Down

in case you have noticed, several websites that are managed and administered by me are down.

at this moment i do not know specifically why, but my hosting company (secureserver.net) tells me only that it is due to a "copyright infringement.

" i do not even know which of the 30 some sites might actually have the claimed infringement and so far all i've been told is that there is a claim and that i have to email a certain group and they will get back to me.. i have no idea when these sites will come back on line.

Singing Listen, Obey & Be Blessed

recently attended the sunday meeting during the c.o.

's visit.

at the end of the final talk, he says the song will be 'listen, obey and be blessed'.

Exploitation at its highest peak. I would be crying as well but it would probably be for many different reasons than the rank and file. Those children will feel accomplished, special and appreciated. If they are being molested it will numb their feelings of shame and guilt(even though it is baseless and unwarranted) much the same as the pioneer sister's service that masks the guilt she feels for sleeping with her best friend's husband who happens to be the COBE. The congregation will be uplifted watching a young upcoming generation bringing "praise to Jehovah" They will convince themselves that these are all happy children priviledged to be in jehovah's fold. I've watched similar videos of JW children singing on YouTube. It is moving and painful at the same time. Reality is, 80% of those children will grow up and leave the organization. Some of them will stay in for decades only to be disillusioned when they are hit in the face with the truth about the truth. So sad. All those tears of joy are only destined to be tears of sorrow. All that is needed is time.

my mother-in-law has a strange obsession with calendars, and orders the society's calendar each year.

this year's calendar is especially weird.

it features images depicting future events - in particular, the society's vision of the new world order.. i've taken the opportunity to scan some of the images for you all to check out.. please note - there are captions for each of the images, but i don't have the english language version of the calendar so i'd rather just quote the scripture used so as not to reveal which country i'm in.. .
