Ive never been able to post Vids here, but if you can copy and paste the above, I think you will enjoy Habibi by Boomtang
after the past few years of trying to really figure out what the bible is teaching and no influence, one of the things has been that possibly the god of the israelites may have been a son.
i want feedback on what i am about to show.
this is the tip of the iceberg, just one angle of what may be going on.
An interesting concept, next time I read through the Bible I will keep your idea in mind to see how it fits in with what Iam reading.
I have sometimes fantasised into the nature of God, such as he could be a little boy who made everything in our world so to us would appear to be, and could claim to be, the Most high, but in his own reality has to go away when his Mum calls him for dinner.

the last thread on this was like 8 yrs ago.
thought it could be updated.
cars, trucks, or motorcycles.
I still have my Triumph Stag that I even went out in the field min in, whenever anyone would accuse me of having a car that was maybe a bit too flash, I would offer to show them the logbook where the previous keeper is shown as being the London Bethel.
The most fun car I ever owned was a ratty Triumph Vitesse, (they look like the little old Triumph Herald), except somebody had put a 3.1 Litre V6 Ford Essex "X pack" engine in it with a hot cam and rather large carb.
Once I had started the car rolling, I could then hit the throttle and nothing would match its acceleration, I couldnt give it when pulling away as the diff used to explode.
It was the fact it looked like an old dads car yet would match the latest Mercedes Sports Coupes was what I most enjoyed, I followed an Audi TT100 down the A22 once, whatever he tried to do, I was still right behind him with an indicated 125mph, you can imagine what that must have looked like to the cars we passed, an Audi travelling at 115 with what looked like a Triumph Herald trying to get past!
i read the postings about 1975 and have the same feeling about the 1988 - 1989 period, the time of my baptism.
i remember the convention that year with the release of the revelation book.
with the assisi religion leaders call for peace and unity, and the events in the ussr and the release of the revelation book, i was thinking the end was very near and it would be a miracle that we could reach 1990.. so i was full of spirit, just becoming a ms and a pioneer.
Those teachings about certain assemblies being a fullfillment of Bible prophesies where around long before the Revelation Climax book Alanv, I think you will find them in the previous version, Finished Mystery was it?, and in the old Daniel book.
Just think, if you had obeyed the Faithfull and descreet slaves advice to study more, you could have discovered this information years earlier and been out!
acording to the bible, who are "anointed" in god's eyes?.
the term 'anointed' occurs in the greek scriptures.
in all but one of the verses, they refer to jesus.
Or one could abandon the JW doctrine of only 144000 Christians in favour of a doctrine that allows 12000 from each of the literal tribes of Israel, after all, God did make them a promise, then the great crowd could be annoined Christians from all tribes and nations and peoples and tongues and whats more, their number is unspecified and they dont have to be virgins.
i've been associated with several congregations, and the one thing which is common to them all is this - the preaching work is the foremost thing we are told to focus on.
(matt.
6:33 is always used to reinforce this direction).
Its worst that that, its actively discouraged to be a Christian in the JWs.
I used to visit the Old Widows in the congregation when in my late 20s, they would go to the meetings, then go home to feel lonely and that nobody cared about them, so I would go around and they would give me cups of tea and bisquits and proudly tell me about thier Husbands and their youth.
I was subsequently told off by the Elders and such activity was prohibited, single Brothers must not visit single sisters, even if they are in their 80s.
Doctrines of men are their identifying marks, not Christian Love.
i'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but here goes.. i've posted a few times before about different subjects.
in some of those posts ive mentioned that im gay, and in others ive referred to my wife and kids.
i thought id share a bit more information to any who were curious about this.
