any truth to this.
the spanish brothers in texas (da).
provided an amusement park for the young on the.
When I was studing Spanish at the University (in the US), my professor referred to the language as "el Castellano." Since then, I have referred to it as "Castellano" when I speak to my Castellano speaking family/friends.
Providing a little fun for the children at a DC. Doesn't Jehovah hate that? I know the GB does.
i'm very excited!
you all helped me to make this decision and stick to it and i thank you all.
eve though my life(spiritual) hasn't been sorted yet...i'm really looking forward to this!
Good decision and one you will not regret. Attending a University is a wonderful experience; so much to learn, and so important in obtaining a good job or profession. I received my first degree at the age of 54 and have gone on to
obtain two more degrees. During this difficult economic turndown, it is imperative to have a degree from university or a technical school. As jws, we never prepared for the future in this system of things and many are now paying
the price for this neglect. Enjoy your journey. My granddaughter will start her University experince on the 24 of the month. I hope both of you have a wonderful time. I am excited for you.
well this afternoon as i sit here i am calm but my heart is literally aching.
i am sitting here with my young daughter on my shoulder.
i guess you could say i spilled the beans to my wife this afternoon.
Wow! I know how she feels. When my husband stoppeed believeing, I thought he was terrible and was going to get us killed by Jehovah. I also think
tootired2 care gave some good advise. Try to keep your love for her separate from your nonbelief in the organizaiton. Don't apologize for what you believe.
Be calm and show her you still love her even though you don't believe what the org teaches. Hope things work out for you.
hi everyone here on jwn.
i admit to being a lurker for quite some time before joining and now i am ready to post and i want to introduce myself.
i am/was 3rd generation and daughter of the po (as it was termed at the time) for most of my life.
Joyfulfader, welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of encouragement here. We're all a little battle-scared but are relieved to be able to express opinions and ideas openly. You have experienced a lot of abuse from
the elders. You've come to the right place for healing. Looking forward to more of your posts and tales from the battle field.
Panhandlegirl.
i always had my doubts about that but i was at least hopeful that all would work out as they said.
i saw so many "faithful ones" who were true believers expire before they got the prize, that i started to think it probably wouldn't happen in my lifetime.. what a bunch of suckers, huh?.
I always hoped I would make it and did everything in my power to be sure I would survive. When I knew I did not have what it took to survive, I stopped trying and decided I would probably just die. I stopped attending meetings
so that I would not contaminate the cong. WOW! how dumb was that.

should i help my wife get the kids ready for meetings, service and assemblies?
As others have already stated, spend time with them now and establish a close relationship. They grow up fast and when they're in their teens they are more interested in their friends than in their parents. I think keeping them
away from the KH meeting is not a bad idea. If they continue going to meeting, they will probably become jws. At the very least, if you let them go the the meeting, help your wife get them ready. They are your children.
i was watching the beverly hillbillies the other night and i have to say, the writing and the acting was terrific!.
another classic is all in the family.
loved that show!.
No one I knew had tv until I was in grade school. I remember when the first tv set came to our neighborhood. All the kids gathered in that house to watch "I Love Lucy." We all loved it. I love tv. My favorites"
All in the Family, The Dick Van Dike Show, M.A.S.H., Frasier, Golden Girls, Friends, The Big Bang Theory,Cheers, How I Met Your Mother. OH, there are so many...
this is just my own observations and pondering.
i was thinking about the way the body's immune system.
is under a constant barage from our surroundings and internal problems like cancer, and if you look at hiv sufferers.
I am now reading "Multiple Myeloma- A Textbook for Nurses." Yes, the body is so amazing.
