  i wake up this morning, check my email, and jang has once again filled it with dozens of anti-cult posts from her yahoo group which i was never solicited to join, and never asked to join.. ok, maybe it wasn't dozens but there were several.. jang, i posted to the newsgroup and i am asking you here now to please stop sending me emails/posts and take me off any lists you currently host or will ever conceive of in the future.

  i have asked you this for at least 3 years now and i am still receiving stuff from you.

  i beg that this by my final request.

  HadEnuf has the right idea. If the same person keeps sending you unwanted emails, simply block their email address. You'll never get another piece of mail from that person again unless they change email adresses.

  i started a new job today and there were several odd coincidences.

  my new employer and co-worker were outside in the breezeway on a smoke break when a woman meandered by (yes she was meandering) she asked very casually in passing "would you care for some bible literature today?

  " holding out a watchtower and awake as she passed.

  I wonder if that law applies to non-profit groups or political campaigns, I&P! Of course all you would have to do to get on all of the Witness "do-not-call" lists is to tell them you are D.F.'d!

  Telemarketing, even for non-profit is strictly regulated in most states. I wonder if JW's are following the laws of the land on this when they start dialing for disciples.

  i was just given the new book from the convention by a neighbor of mine and i was remembering that when i was in high school 85-89, we met the bethelite brother who was giving the special talk at our district assembly.

  most of the families from my congregation commuted, 20 miles, to the assembly in fresno, ca.

  a local elder stayed with his family in the hotel across the selland arena, convention.

  sitting this evening with friends chilling out as you do, most of them anti-global capitalists and coca cola came up into the conversation.. you know, we couldn't come up with anything that essentially this giant corporation was doing or has done that might affect adversely other people elsewhere.

  all they produce is one bloody great drink that everyone loves.. anyone else heard of or have something on this corporation?.

  I belong to a cult of brothers and sisters whose lives have all been ruined by Diet Coke. In hopes of gaining back what we have lost from this harsh addiction we worship a blue rubber shark named AHHHMMBeep.

  We were all hardcore addicts until finding this great rubber shark. My friend lost all he had because of it and I didnt want to end up like that. So I gave all the money I had and let my wife sleep with the cult leader to join this fine organization and it has turned my life around.

  I am one of six members of the newly formed cult. The cult is the only one in the U.S. for Diet Coke addicts, and is the seventh cult in our small town.

  Our leader is just so proud of our cult. It grew so fast and now we are bustin at our seams.

  I was taught this by my parents. But, I am wondering if this is a JW doctine. Isn't apostasy in their eyes considered sinning against the spirit, something which you cannot be forgiven for?
