there were only three of us there but was very enjoyable.
Hey Dakota, my husband will be one of thousands riding his bike past your place next weekend for the Seattle to Portland bicycle classic. He'll be the redhead (hard to tell with helmets) in a yellow shirt. That ought to make him easy to spot.

over the years i've kept my birthdate rather quiet.
this year the company newsletter has been posting employees' birthdays each month.

my husband and i have had sort of a disagreement of sorts.
he says that men cannot be friends with women.
he says that any man that appears to want to be friends with a woman really just wants to get in her pants, and if they end up friends it's purely by accident.
Everyone is different. My husband and I are good friends with another couple. The wife works on Fridays and he stays home with the kids. We frequently get together and take our kids to the park or a museum or something or just hang out at one of our houses. Neither of our spouses are threatened by this. Of course we have four kids with us all the time, not much threat there. Even if we didn't I don't think it would be a problem. If my husband had a problem with it, I wouldn't do it. Not a big deal. If he was unmarried with no children I think it would be a completely different story. I know my husband trusts me but it wouldn't be worth worrying him and I certainly wouldn't put myself in a position that could ruin my marriage. My husband/marriage comes first.

That sounds awesome LB. We are heading downtown Edmonds to eat a pancake breakfast with the Sons of Norway. After that the kids ride their decorated bikes in the kid's parade which is followed by the "big" Edmonds parade. Then it's off to our friend's annual 4th picnic where we eat and enjoy their lovely sound and mountain view. If it doesn't rain I'll hitch a ride with someone to watch the fireworks display at the civic playfields.

yesterday, was, for my youngest son, the day that he re-commenced his fitness training in preparation for the start of the football season.
however, his car is laid up, the engine having objected to the extremes that had been demanded of it since number 3 son took over it's reins.. so ben pleaded with hl to be taken to winscombe, a distance of around 10 miles.
on the way there, the cunning little menace mournfully mentioned that he would not be able to get back home, please, mum, pretty please, will you drive back out and pick me up?.

you bring shame upon our country, and i feel angry with both of you.. there are certain rules that people abide by.. 1. you never insult / criticise someone's kids unless you want their parents to hate you.. 2. you don't foist your religious beliefs upon others, because, in so doing, you appear to be taking the moral highground, and this is extremely irritating.

That's right Simon. The broad generalizations are so offensive. Just because the gov't does something doesn't mean I gave it my stamp of approval. As long as we are lumping all American's into one group let me point out that I'm not fat or lazy either.

Sally, my daughter's hair was about an inch and a half at age two! She just turned four and has red curls long enough to pull into a pony tail (which actually looks like a bun because it is so curly). Bald babies are great.
