Hi Folks,
I went to the meetup at StarBucks in Greensboro NC yesterday. There were only three of us there but was very enjoyable. We each told our JW story and then just talked about our quest for spirituality. Neither of them was a member of this forum so I encouraged them to come on over. They both were sincere people with good character, at least that was my opinion. "Good character" can mean different things to different people I realize, but that was my view.

Lew, are you in Oregon, or Washington, or someplace else? I've got family in Washington, up north of Seattle, and I get up there once or twice a year for a visit. It would be neat to hook up next time, if we're close enough geographically to make it feasible.
I'm on the south end of Washington, Comf. Vancouver, right across the river from Portland, Or. Any of you ever driving through on I-5 stop by, I'm less than a half mile from the freeway and between two exits.

Hey Dakota, my husband will be one of thousands riding his bike past your place next weekend for the Seattle to Portland bicycle classic. He'll be the redhead (hard to tell with helmets) in a yellow shirt. That ought to make him easy to spot.
Comf, where north of Seattle? I am about fifteen or so miles north of Seattle in Edmonds. Come on up to visit your family and drop in for our first apostafest in these parts on August 3. We'd love to see you.

I'd love to Lew but I am going to Boston on Tuesday. Steve will be with friends. I was supposed to be the person to pick them up in Portland and would have stopped by to visit you but I accidently made travel arrangements for the same time! You will be coming to the apostafest though, right?
