Not as much as the wts wants people to think they are. when I was in school I got lots of flack from my first grade teacher in particular. But not from the kids. later on I caught some flack from a few kids. But what really stood out to me was in high school there was a small group of bible thumping Christian kids who really got a lot of heat. Knowing the pain they felt, I refrained from taunting and bullying them. But they were called the BLOODY GOD SQUAD, Bible beaters, and had all manner of insult laid upon them. Worse than anything I got from kids at school.

however i'm going to direct my thoughts and comments in this initial post to lurking jehovah's witnesses who may read on this board and may be sitting on the fence pondering on whether to stay in the jehovah's witnesses organization.
also to newer members who may have joined the board.. in this latest 4/15 wt in the article , " jehovah knows how to deliver his people " it conveys the thought that only the wt society ( through god's help ) will be guiding any jw's through the alleged " armageddon " considered god's war against the wicked.

Apparently cruelty, rape and humiliation is what god wants men to perpetrate on women. When we are told that the bible is the instruction manual for life and that it holds pearls of wisdom for us to treasure, I can't help but wonder WTF this kind of lesson is trying to teach us.
Where is the right of a woman to be treated with love and respect? I mean if you think some woman you captured is hot and want to marry her; you 1) Cut off her nails...No doubt so she doesn't scratch your face when you, 2) Shave her head, 3) Strip her naked, 4) Lock her away for a month to mourn the brutal death of her family.
After the month of being kind and considerate of her loss has expired, you can then go in and have sex with her. There is NO MENTION of this woman WANTING to have sex with you. Just that you can go in and make her your wife. BUT! And this is a BIG BUT! If YOU find no pleasure in her, you can CAST HER OFF! Simply discard her after having your way with her. Now, you can't sell her into slavery and profit from having humiliated and dishonored her. Just show her the door and foot her ass so she can go wherever the hell she wants to go.
God made us all in His image we are told. WHY would he allow this type of abuse to go on? And they wonder why I question everything in it.
