Of course those in New York are going to turn this into a clear case of persecution. The ban in Russia, and the subsequent rolling out of your average pick and mix governing body member is inevitable. It's called damage control.
So far, all I've witnesses is another western influence being banned in Russia. In my opinion, the Russian government did the right think by banning Jehovah's witnesses and calling it extreme. Just because the watchtower organisation hasn't pulled a Jim Jones, or a David Koresh ( although the latter was actually the American special forces that caused the deaths of his followers at Waco by storming the building and settings fire to it) doesn't mean it's any less dangourous. In fact, I would argue that recent events, and the reaction to this decision has actually exposed the extreme nature of the watchtower, and some of its followers.

Since the name Jehovah was invented by a monesterial servant (otherwise known as a Monk) then yes anything is possible. However, as you clearly made a typo (nobody is perfect Outlaw 😜) then I believe in the extreme case there is no elder to conduct the watchtower study, then a ministerial servant will have the "privilege" of taking said watchtower.
Failing that, it will be a member of the opposite sex doing a fine impression of a Arab citizen. Wearing a tea towel (probably sourced from the kitchen area) on her head.

Still Contaminated After All These Years
by new boy inthe contaminantion of years of being a jehovah witness.. it's interesting to see in myself and in many others here how no matter how much we want it or wish it, we will never be able to erase all of the mental contamination.
in one way or another it will always be a part of us.. i've had many friends that have been out for many years say "well i can't do that it just wouldn't be right.

So am i, although it has only been two years for me. I'd like you to think of something here. Remember JWs saying you can leave Jehovah, (the organisation) however Jehovah never leaves you! When I was fully indoctrinated, I thought this to be Jehovah always trying to draw you back. Now I'm out, I see this as being more sinister.
The Watchtower are extremely good indoctrination, they know exactly what to use psychologicaly - ""If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it" Joseph Goebbels - The Watchtower are big on repetition for emphasis, see the correlation here?
In short, the Watchtower instilled in us some very powerful teachings, we were programmed to think differently from the world, we were told that the only shelter from the wicked world was being at meetings regularly, and of course, field service, we were told that if we did not do this, then Jehovah would be very angry with us. We could also be classed as blood guilty if we did not go in service. Imagine how powerful these words are.
There are so many things wrong with the teachings of the Watchtower. Instead of it being a spiritual paradise, it is more akin to spiritual abuse. We were abused mentally, That does not go away overnight.
I should mention I am now seeing a CBT therapist, I, like yourself have reached the limit. But do not ever give up. There was a video recently on how the Watchtower programs us, even when we have left. They install a self destruct button in us all. This can work in severel ways. It can manifest in us crawling back with our tales between our legs, which is their ultimate goal. As with any abusive relationship, the abuser will always use this against us. Or (sadly) as with many who have left and got lost in this perceived scary world we could end it all. Another win for the Watchtower. Or we can find our map and plot a way out, this may include many hours of therapy, but isn't this worth it.

They used to use DG1 in Dumfries for our assembly days, then they built Livingston Assembly hall. I have only ever been there once, have to say, I was seriously underwhelmed by the building.

On the subject of A Believer certain we are near the end, for 137 years now your religion has been saying it is near the end. That's right 137 years. Since then, we have witnessed (no pun intended) the advent of 24 hour rolling news, this news sensationalises current events to increase viewership, the events we see on the news do not necessarily reflect what is really happening. A Believer believes that Donald Trump will usher on the great tribulation, this was also said about Barack Obama, however, it is apparent his time in office is almost over and there has been absolutely no sign of the great tribulation. By the way, I want you to do something for me. Call it a little experiment. One day, go out on the street and tell others what you think, that Donald Trump is going to lead the world into the great tribulation, and the only survivors of this great tribulation will be 8.2 million, leaving 7 billion inhabitants as bird food, or as your governing body member once said, human hot dogs! See the rather puzzled and confused looks you will no doubt get, not to mention the pity some will feel for you, fearing that you may need psychiatric intervention.
See, the thing is, when JW's such as yourself go out to preach to others, you never tell them the dark side of your beliefs do you. You always fluff it up with, wouldn't this be nice, to have no war, no killing. All the while, you and 8.2 million active JW's cannot wait to see war raged and Innocent people killed, hence your comment " I will leave it to Jehovah to judge"
By the way, may I ask, where do you get this idea that we are all far to gone when we have used fact based evidence? Where is your fact based evidence. And I also asked, could you please provide us with this letter that you mentioned please? You made a statement about 1975, and you also said there was a letter to back this statement up, where is this letter?
