Has Bigfoot been found?
August 14, 2008, 10:34 pm
Two professional hunters in the United States claim to have found the body of a Bigfoot.
Former prison guard Rick Dyer and policeman Matthew Whitton say they found a dead Bigfoot in north Georgia but will not reveal the exact location.
According to their website www.searchingforbigfoot.com, the pair is keeping the specimen in a freezer and will reveal details of its DNA and photographic evidence at a press conference in California on Friday.
They claim the creature has two arms with five fingers on each hand and two legs with five toes on each foot.
It is also allegedly a male, 2.3m tall and weighing in at more than 230kg.
They said it looks "part human and part ape" with reddish hair and blackish-grey eyes.
It is not the first time the pair has promoted a Bigfoot find.
In 2005 they offered viewers a chance to see a beast captured on a pay-per-view television channel for $59.95 but it did not happen.
Dyer and Whitton claim many Bigfoots were spotted walking upright in the area where the body was found.
They have promised extensive scientific studies will be done on the body by a team of scientists including a molecular biologist, an anthropologist, a palaeontologist and other scientists over the next few months at an undisclosed location.
One man involved with the find is Tom Biscardi, founder of the Great American Bigfoot Research Organisation.
Mr Biscardi had once claimed to capture a Bigfoot himself but it turned out to be a hoax.
Several Bigfoot sightings have arisen over the years but none have really produced substantial evidence that could be proven true.

what angers you about the truth
by stillajwexelder inthis angers me .
elders who will not make shepherding calls to comfort their brothers and sisters but as soon as that brother or sister puts one little foot out of line those same f-----g (sorry about the language but it really angers me ) elders can not move fast enough to form a judicial committee and then are so unmerciful - it makes me want to vomit literally

Some People Enjoy Being Jehovah's Witnesses For Various Reasons
by minimus insome individuals truly enjoy being jehovah's witnesses.
i think about those that would have liked to be in acting.
well, having a part in a demonstration in the service meeting or giving a talk in the theocratic ministry school gives one the opportunity to act, be melodramatic, show a little comedic talent, etc.

Do You Clearly Understand That "The Truth" Is Nothing But Bullcrap?
by minimus inwhat a waste of living being "in the truth" was!
sometimes i see persons suggesting that the witness religion isn't all so wrong.
actually they suggest that they themselves are the issue.

I hope you and your team are satisfied, now, min.
But....have you never been hypocritical in some threads you've started?
Such self-righteousness is deemeaning.
Over.

Just a PRUDENT Reminder in These Days of Rampant Forums
by BabaYaga inthere have been countless "new forums" set up in the panic of the past few days.
i, personally, am concerned for those i care about here.
as a precaution first of all, do not join a forum hosted by anyone you do not know or have good reason to trust.

does anyone know if amama2six is legit?
A good question.
How could we tell? amama2six joined JWD only a month ago shortly before the incursion by the nasties. What i see is someone who has progressed from being very much a novice on a db to someone who overnight produced a new board with all its bells and whistles. Work it out yourself.
I'm intrigued how someone with six underage kids has so much time these days. Are they getting fed?
Would it be possible, do you think, for more than one person to be sharing the account? I dunno.
Like I say, work it out yourself.

My theory about the behavior and obsession of some ex-JWs
by Simon ini've had this theory for some time and alluded to it occassionally but have never explored it in detail.. it is of course a huge generalisation so no, not everyone will fit into the boxes and i'd like people's opinion.
i don't know everyone's circumstances so it's based on a small sample of some of those i do know something about.
it could be completely wrong, it's just an idea.. basically, i have seen a difference between some of those ex-jws who walked out vs those who were kicked out.. the most bitter and obsessive seem to be the kicked out and, i must add, those who were legitimately kicked out.

Simon;
Yep, I tend to agree with you. Of course that's in general terms - I realise there are exceptions.
I really wonder whether a lot of the posters we have seen on JWD who like to think of themselves as exJW are simply lapsed dubs?
We've probably met many people in 'real life' are known as lapsed catholics - are they any more 'ex' than are many folk we've encountered here?

These people need professional help and I would suggest that these boards rather than helping them, actually add to their emotional issues.
It's an interesting observation, one that I hadn't thought about but I do find it an appealing one. In other words, these boards can actually feed their anger, further entrenching their characterisation as an exJW. Or rather that should simply be a lapsed JW?
