  i wanted to relate an experience that happened this morning.

  it is regarding the new format for the meeting on thursdays in my area.

  its not word for word but im summarizing what i heard, the best i can remember.

  WatchTower/JW Judicial Committees are nothing more than Kangaroo Courts..

  i had heard that gb members flew first class, does anyone know if this is so?.

  also, bethel living accommodation, do they have same standard as all bethelites or do they get luxury quarters.. same for cars, are they provided luxury cars as was once the case?.

  After 17 years, I went to a KH....really shocked!!

  after severe pressure from my family, i have decided to attend to the nearest kh.

  and a little history regarding my self: i became inactive and lost completely contact of the wt changes and "new light" 17 years ago.. everything seemed so odd and strange during the meeting.

  latest technology, animated movies, watchtower web tv, a website that you can download everything, including km and wt study articles.

  Everything seemed so odd and strange during the meeting. Latest technology, animated movies, Watchtower web TV, a website that you can download everything, including KM and WT study articles. My relatives told me that in the D,A the drama was movie animated as well, so no more costumes or the anticipation from the assigned Cong to prepare the drama. And the cherry on the cake, the last song!!! Hell what was that!!!??? I thought I was in the Caribbean, drinking Pina Colada!

  For someone who has been away for so long it looked like it was another religion, The only thing that looked very familiar, and confirmed that I was in WT meeting, was that the End is still near!!!

  If JWs were to change their name what would they change it to?

  (at the time with lower case w) isn't it about time now they changed name again?

  recent developments make me think they might be.

  the problems they are facing are not just lack of funds but also draining authority, and the two could be a heady and explosive mix.

  one of the best analyses ever written of the watchtower was a book called "trumpet of prophecy" by sociologist james beckford in the 1970s.

  so as many know....ive been df'd goin on 19 years already.

  i drive pops to meetings, and drop him off on saturdays for fs.. well yesterday, the elders ask to speak to me, and tell me that if i plan on returning to jehovah, i had better shave my beard off..
