From just reading the first letter...copies of these need to be seized from the headquarters in New York showing the WTS is specifically telling elders to obsturct justice. Does the press have copies of these? I mean come on!!!! This is unbelievable! The sadest thing is that R&F have no clue why elders are going to start getting arrested. This will have nothing to do with their faith but that's what they are going to tell the R&F!

I urge any still elders who have info like this who are reading this, start taking action. DO YOU WANT TO GO TO JAIL BECAUSE OF THE WTS POLICIES? THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR FAITH!

downey -- two local women from a group calling themselves the "silent lambs" made a symbolic gesture monday, hanging a stuffed lamb doll on the door of the kingdom hall in downey; a move meant to protest alleged cases of child abuse within the jehovah's witnesses religious order.

i was outraged when i read what a friend of ours was given him by 2 jws yesterday when he asked them the question about the child molestation issue.

i can't belive the jws have the guts to pass this stuff out.

the people we were with at lunch today all looked at it and was replused at the wt's reply.. what do you think?.

After I puked I again read the channel nine program transcripts from Australia. I e-mailed the transcripts to all my non-JW friends. I am fairly angry now and have to go off-line before I break something.

me, elsewhere, jesika and her sister spent about four hours today at a busy intersection (the same intersection where jesika did the press conference, right in front of the k.h.!

) and passed out flyers to everyone at the light!

hey everyone, although im currently studyin with jehovahs witnesses, im dont understand the thing with jw's and a secular career or degree..i wonder is there biblical reference to it...???

im very cynical about many of their teachings...and can see my association with them will be short, although i must admit i thought they had some basic principles rite...help...

Pioneering isn't going to buy you a car or provide for your family, if you have one. The worst thing you can do is deprive yourself of an education. They ARE basically nice but check out the child abuse stuff and their association with the UN which they themselves condemn.

there is no telling where this woman is but somebody from somewhere must know who she is and i would think turn her in.

There was actually some depraved lawyer who tried to blame her mental condition to defend her actions.

What is God doing?

this is a genuine question... i mean no disrespect to anyone...especially to my heavenly father....but i have this gnawing question in my head that just wont go away...... okay... with that out of the way.... let's take the holly and jessica story that hit the headlines in the uk recently...two innocent kids, murdered and left to decompose in a filthy mud trench....;or worse than that, the story about the two people in the usa who have been busted for running an internet child porn site that features pix of children...babies as young as five months... five months!!!!!!

!.....being sexually abused..... if i start to think about what these poor kids went through it drives me mad!

and then if i start to think about what some kids are still going through even as i write..... welli can hardly bear it!.

With our new technological age there is exponential leaps in knowledge and achievements. I hope I live to see the day we find other intelligent life somewhere else in the universe. Think how much we've gained in the last 30 years - even the last 10. Look at the achievements in the last 100 years in science, medicine, comunication, genetics........there was no internet in the 70's.

Will we ever travel faster than the speed of light?

There is some research going on from some scientists on anti-gravity. They were from Russia. NASA has taken in interest in this.

We don't use horses as our main source of transportation.

Satellites - we went to the moon.

Who knows what people will yet achieve. I think about that instead of "is there a God". I can't understand God so I won't try.

I have voted for the first time in my life!

today is a historical day for me.

today i got up early but instead of going to the kh as i used to for years, i went to the election office to vote in the current election for the german bundestag.. for years, i had a political opinion and hoped that "my" representative wins.

this time i did my part to ensure this by voting.. it is a strange feeling: being part of this system.

I guess we'll find out (6PM EST USA) I was very proud the first time I voted, it was for the last presidential election in the US. It made me feel good to exercise a freedom that many have died to protect.

strange things are happening here in oz after the "silent witnesses" was seen on the sunday programme today.

long-serving elders here in oz are getting unsettled already it seems.

without compromising certain individuals, we can say that phone calls to certain participants are being received.

Besides making my blood boil...thank u soooo much for posting the transcript on the CH 9 story!! I guess I have to just sit and wait until I can get some "official" transcript and video to show my family - I did order one from CH 9 - not sure if I'll get one though. I had to get an "official transcript" from Dateline for $15 because that was the only way my family would read it.

My comments:

I was very pleased with the emphasis that everyone but them is "SATAN".

Also the insight on "Theocratic Warfare" and justified lying.

I like the judges comments about criminal charges being brought against the JWs.

The statement that it is none of the media's or state's business about what has taken place.......I had to pick my jaw up off the floor on that one.

I have great sadness for the abused - the reason I mentioned the 4 comments before expressing my sorrow for the victims is because the first 4 may prevent anymore abuse cover-ups.

In the follow up I would like to see more indept in how they place themselves higher than the secular authorties - the very ones they say are placed in their possition by God. Maybe their view of the internet and how it spreads "lies", using their quotes, because it really exposesses them as liars.

This reporting was by far the best I have seen. It was simply amazing and very damaging to the JWs policies. You Austies pulled off the gloves and beat the sh*t out of the WTS. I am so happy - yet so sad. I cheered/screamed out loud and shed tears.

If I can in any way help out let me know. Unspeakable thx to all who were involved! Hats off to those brave people who had the courage to speak out and say, I was wronged and something needs to be done about it!
