I think all the key Bethel players should each write a chapter on their experiences and have it printed in a book for all to see what really goes on at the Bethel home.

Ray Franz let us know the workings of the Governing Body in his book CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE and now the workings of Bethel could be advertised. Remember, Advertise, Advertise, Advertise!

But we need some imput on what the book could be titled. Do you the reader have any suggestions?

Maybe something like, HOUSE OF GOD SHOULD BE FORCLOSED ON! (???)

dear all, thank you for your warm welcome!

this is my story in short (pls excuse wrong spellings, english is not my native tongue and that it still became quite long).. i'm 34 and was born into the truth by parents who in their turn were baptist in young age.

i have one older sister who is currently serving at bethel with her husband and a younger brother who never embraced the truth (which was my big sorrow for many years).

Not being able to accept 'alternative service' during the draft years. Here the government made a provision that you did not have to kill anyone, just help out at a hospital in your home town! But no, then we could say we've been persecuted by going to prison when none of it was necessary.

Also, they never really gave a good explanation of Thomas' words in John........"My Lord & God, when Christ appeared to him.

everytime i talk to someone about praying they say that they pray all the time.

talk to god whenever they can.

well i'm just the opposite.

Not asking for too much, but constantly thanking for what I already have. But prayer mostly is for 'PRAISE & WORSHIP'! Prayers are answered for those HE considers his children. Even his bad kids!

i hate everything.

i am so angry at my mother, at my father, my sister, my brother.

nobody understands me.

I don't have all the answers, but I can tell you what I would probably do.

1. Reinvent yourself

2. Make a few new friends

3. Look for a new boyfriend (don't be in a big hurry to find the right one)

4. Walk as much as possible (parks, along the waterfront, etc.)

5. Treat yourself at a nice restaurant with food you like the most, with grandma along

6. Sleep

7. Read a good book

8. Forget the JW's

9. Pray and hope your family changes, but in the meantime don't worry about them. The problem is theirs not yours

10. Do you like your job? If not, look for something different.

11. Rent or go to some good upbuilding movies.

12. Get a new hairdo, or change your looks. If you look like your avatar, stay as you are.

i believe the watchtower is hoping that their involvment with the united nations is something that will fade away and be forgotten!

when i was an elder, i would have left the organization immediately had i known that!

what hypocrisy after all they printed about the un beast of revelation, and here they were a supporter of it as a ngo.. everyone, should have the facts on hand if needed, and never let the issue die.. outaservice.

When I was an Elder, I would have left the Organization immediately had I known that! What hypocrisy after all they printed about The UN Beast of Revelation, and here they were a supporter of it as a NGO.
