What would happen is that the Society would write the body of elders, who would corral you into a backroom and start an investigation.
All this has happened before...
what would happen if i would write a physical letter to, for example, the branch office.
and ask questions about scandals like the ngo thing and other stuff?
or ask questions about wtbs economy, or ask for a annual report, which is something i would really like to read.
What would happen is that the Society would write the body of elders, who would corral you into a backroom and start an investigation.

lately television has really bored me so i have turned to youtube on the apple tv.. man, this show is hilarious.
i knew it was funny when it was on the air but it seems to get better with time.
or maybe i am getting older and beginning to see a lot of hank hill in myself.. any fans ??
i am initially thinking of the major religious institutions of christianity , catholic ,many branches , church of england , and the major protestant religions , too numerous to mention here.. after all their is 40,000 plus christian religions in the world today ?so obviously j.w.`s are not the only false religion .. so my real question is really , to do with the mainstream christian religions , why are`nt they more aggressive in their condemnation of the jehovah witness religion for their obvious failings ,flip backs ,contradictions ,prophecy`s that never eventuated , end of the world predictions ,re-inventing their past history , even distancing themselves from their past history , and their founding members , such as c.t.russell and j.f.rutherford whose policies they now reject... they need to get on board and bleed it for all it`s worth .. smiddy .
Every church I've attended after leaving, I've never heard anything negative spoken about any group, much less JWs. There seems a conscious effort to be tolerant and respectful of other denominations and religions. It is quite different than services at the Kingdom Hall, which is tantamount to hate speech in regard "Christendom" or other religions.
Many churchgoers consider JWs "nice people", not realizing the danger the organization poses. Nor do people seem to want to know.
i just dont get it.
the gb moved to patterson and are conducting business from there, right?
they are not printing as much literature as they once were and they are still operating walkill for the magazines...er a ....pamphlets.
What kind of HQ did Jesus have?
"Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."--Matthew 8:20
1) the general "wicked generation" has always members that live past 115 years, so without the ridicoulous overlap idea, it would have taken wt writers to 2030 for the start of pardise.. 2) the "all things take place" prophecy recorded in math 23-25 include the entering of the " goats into everlasting cutting off=armageddon; the sheep into everlasting life= paradise".
therefore: the generation of wt anointed overlappers dying before armageddon to be raptured, is not what jesus said.
he said the generation will not pass, will survive, be alive , witness the entering into paradise.
one example is when my mom went to the doctors office she would check in and say in a very loud voice "im one of jehovah's witnesses and i don't want a blood transfusion.
she would like say this do every one at the doctor's office.
i was 16 years old and i say mom no one here is going to do this to you.. another time is when we go out to eat my dad would pray out loud and say "jeehoovah" really loud.
i took a quick trip to the store and i happened to see a young man (about 26-28 years old) who got baptized about the same time i was leaving- about 2 years ago.
a couple of pioneer sisters found him in the door to door work.
one of them, a very attractive girl.
page 6 of the september 2015 public wt, under the heading "how is our ministry financed"our work is supported entirely by voluntary donations.
(2 corinthians 9:7) in 1879, the second issue of this magazine stated: zions watch tower [as this magazine was then called] has, we believe jehovah for its backer, and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support.
we have not wavered from that policy.
So while they begged for money in the May broadcast, I guess technically they can say that the Watchtower magazine itself didn't do the begging...
after gradually waking up to ttatt im finding myself with this question:.
since it is so easy to be indoctrinated with jw beliefs, are there other areas in my life where i'm also under influance of other false beliefs?
from the culture i've grown up with, school etc?.
There is a difference between influence and undue influence. Influence is a continuum…at the extreme end would be undue influence, which is implementing by the methods found in the BITE model.
imagine three single sisters who qualified to be appointed as elders in the congregation.
they qualified because they started reaching out in their early teens.
persistently and methodically they worked their way through the ranks by pioneering then becoming a m.s.
