if you were born in 1914 that makes you 86 years old.

so your pretty close to keeling over already.

but that only makes you 14 around time of annointment so that seems a little ridiculous.

The WTS says the annointing stopped in 1935. So the youngest annointed is 66(if you were annointed as a baby). Im 28 so I figure I should be around when they are all dead. But I think they already have a plan ready to buy more time.

just looking briefly on this board, i can see all the warnings given in the watchtower about those leaving the organisation and sinking into the mire of the world are true.. you are all sad losers.

its easy too criticize a religion.any person can do that.trash talking isnt accepted that well amongst the majority of people.why not find something better too offer people.now that would be a better thing too do.this board will probably fizzle out after a while.

After laughing my ass off at JANH's post(it just struck me as funny); I had a really profound moment(could be the chemicals from the laugh) that I am having trouble putting into words.

I am going to start thinking more about what really matters to me and how I can make the most of my years on this earth. I really want to take advantage of everything available too me now. -om

Michael Jackson still a JW!

last night on one of the entertainment magazines shows they said that michael jackson just gave an interview to tv guide.

in it he says he is still a jw and still goes door to door in disguise.

i had heard a rumour recently that he still donated a lot of money to the society but had no clue he still claimed to be one.

I can see where he would be inclined to donate to an organization that protects pedophiles. Seems to be a perfect fit.

New Peak!

you will be happy to know that the board saw a new peak in registrants for the past month of 375, surpassing our last peak in june during aux pioneer season.

special thanks to regular pioneer hawkaw who was no doubt responsible for much of the fine growth during the last month.

more numbers regarding placements and studies for october will be forthcoming.

What a blessing to have so many people flocking to this forum! The holy-spirit must be acting on our behalf.

The holy-spirit has me wondering how we can turn this into a cash-cow?

Perhaps we could market "spiritual-helter-skelter" since spiritual paradise is already taken. I think an infomercial would be most effective for this type of product.

Or maybe we could be the Billy Idol of religion, for the really rebellious and what not.

What kind of angel was Satan?

the bible mentions several different types of angels.

seraphim, cherubs and the archangel who is referred to as jesus.. my question is what type of angel was satan?

i could be wrong but it seems that satan may have been a bit more powerful than many of the other angels.

Satan in a myth. A scapegoat if you will. A figment of our wonderful imagination. The fact of the matter is that good and evil are one in the same. You cannot have one without the other.

God and Satan/Good and Evil, are a part of each and every one of us. The trick seems to be finding a happy middle ground between the two. That is where happiness can most easily be attained.

Its all relative.
