  i cannot compete with threads anymore.

  Why cannot some people say the words..."I love you".

  no.....i'm not gittin all mushy and stuff.......but i want to know why.. during a visit with my sis, we discussed how some have trouble expressing affection with love to the ones closest to them such as spouses, parents, or children.

  about a week or so later, i talk to a friend i used to work with and he's telling me of how he and his wife are like strangers.

  i asked him if he made her feel loved.

  So children being taught manners doesn't matter when someone sneezes and they say "Bless you" and you know they don't mean it?

  People have to be taught to show love and affection, and for the ones who were never taught it or leaned it they wont accept it?

  Am I getting this right? Love is an action word, if you say it and don't show it, any moron would understand that.

  But a Mother or Father who showed it by taking care of you, sticking up for you, that is a whole different thing, even if they couldn't say it.

  But a parent who abused you while saying this is because I love you is a whole different story.

  I use the word "love" lightly, but I love alot, and I take it seriously.

  If someone doesn't agree with me, then I say kiss my A**

  It's all in how someone takes it, if they have a problem with someone saying I love you, their problem. Don't interpet how others mean it, mean what you say.

  If I say it to you, it is special.

  Just my two cents, do I get change?

  My sad start to the day.

  to all you animal lovers out there.. i awoke this morning to find that my dog had passed away during the night.. he was a golden retriever cross and the baby of the family.

  he loved the kids and would lie down so my 2 year old could sit and lie on him.. he dug out of the back yard and got into my gardening stuff.

  he ate half a box of snail bait.. i'm feeling really guilty, sould not have left it out.

  OMG

  My dog who was six months old at the time ate snail and slug bait, The same thing happened, I didn't think he could reach it, he was just a puppy. What the heck is in that stuff they want to eat it? Oh Hell, they want to eat everything.

  I had clients come in who wanted to take me out to dinner, I had a weird feeling, and told them I needed to get home, it was ten to five. Well when I got home two minutes after five my baby was shaking, so I called all vets. Now I have been in this community for 18 years, not one of them called me back. So off to the emergency animal hospital, 30 minutes away, with my best friend in tow, who drove me. His stomach was pumped, another hour and he would of died. $600 it was worth of medicine, and it was all worth it..

  He is a pitbull/ Great dane, and the sweetest thing in the world, but since that incident, and the one where the annulled person abused him he has never been the same. All 110 lbs of him. I think he would of taken the psycho out.

  He was my saviour, but alas he is in heaven, as I have told others, he is with clients of mine now in Idaho, who love him and he has 4 children who love him. All on lots of acres.

  Thanks, now I am crying.

  Concerning Birthdays, Dogs, and the Bible

  the watchtower can't establish clear evidence that birthdays , as a natural event, are part of 'false' religion.. so, they try to associate them with negative events in the bible and condemn them thereby.. the trouble with this reasoning is that it is foolish to condemn any practise arbitrarily simply because someone can.

  find something negative correlated with it in bible events.

  ( how about chronology and false prophecy?).

  Is Virginity All It's Crack'd Up To Be?

  seems to me that in the jw religion, virginity is considered to be an essential requirement for the born-into-its, right up until the time that they get married.

  seems to me also, that the jw religion, while condemning fornication generally, sets greater store on females remaining intacto, as opposed to males, what with references to "old towels that any man can wipe his hands on" and the like.

  very patriarchal.
