Another sad non jw falling for a baptised jw girl story

ok ,so this is my story , this jw girl came on vacation in my country as a friend of my girl-cousin who is not a jw but were classmates at uni .

my cousin introduced her to me but she didnt tell me that she was a jw from the very first moment we flirt each other.we went on beach ,on bars ,cafes etc and she acted so wordly ,in fact i thought she could be a good one night stand with her behaviour .never saw anything weird about her that could lead me to question something, with the peak in the club where we danced together while hugging very passionatly .

i tried to kiss her that night but she kept her distance , i didnt notice any bad on that.anyway, next day we flirt again at the the beach and at night too .

This means more than likely you have read abou the other recent ones and the answers that the "learned" have shared before you. Are you hoping for some answers that are not in alignment with the ones already shared?

I know how bad it is to be in lust with someone but your acking for advice that you already know your going to hear.

Walk VERY FAST away from this deal and get some hypnotist to try to remove that memory that you have for her as it will lead to much more heartache.

And in this case it is NOT better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.

Experience with elder: From top down to bottom up organization

it was around 2009, when i attended higher education (bachelor), an elder of the congregation made an appointment for a encourage conversation at home.

because i know the elder whole my life, and i have respect for his age, i couldn't say no.

we started with a good cup of coffee.

Canadian radio station plans show re: new book re JW's being a cult

the talk show host had family that was jw - he is pretty non biased when i have heard him speak about the witnesses but straight shooting.

he is sure to get some attention from some current jws if he raises this as a topic.

the local producer has been unable to get any response from "the local chapter" of the organization.

Would Elders You Knew Have Ordered Stonings If They Could Have?

for those of you who used to be jws, or who are active, if the society was in charge of the earth, how many people do you think you would have seen stoned during your lifetimes?

i realize some elders can be zealous about their work, but if they'd actually had administrative authority to have kh members stoned to death, how many elders did you know who would have been zealous enough to really order them?.

did you know any elders who would have ordered stonings, even if the condemned people had been willing to repent?.

Thought this would fit here just nicely.

About 20 years ago we learned first hand that an elder in my wife's previous congregation had his son who was DFd to BEAT UP his son in law who was not treating his daughter in law properly(can't remember this part exactly) Word of this got out and somehow got back to the CO and he came in and questioned those in the congregation including regular pioneers, story was denied by all and he gets off Scott free.

Now even his "mob enforcer" son is in good standing along with the "DON"

So yes I think this guy would certainly order stonings approved by god since he will order beatings when it is against god orders

Singing Listen, Obey & Be Blessed

recently attended the sunday meeting during the c.o.

's visit.

at the end of the final talk, he says the song will be 'listen, obey and be blessed'.

Now when the kids hear and or sing that song they will remember that day when "they got invited by the CO to come ON STAGE to sing this song and mommy and daddy were so proud of me, they were actually crying, I will never forget this for as long as I shall live on this side of the big A cause Jehovah will not let me remember seeing tears on that side"

Creating strong memories to keep them loyl to the Borg.

Anyone Else See Les Miserables?

i went to see it today - by myself (mr bee is on a golf junket).

i was glad that that i was by myself because i cried so much at the end, i wouldn't have wanted to be with anyone who wasn't crying - and that would not have been mr bee!.

les miserables the current film is adapted from what is considered one of the half-dozen greatest novels of the past 150 years and one of the longest novels ever written.

I just watched the 1935 original with Charles Laughton. I have always loved the one with Liam Neeson and don't ant to mess it up with a Musial one.

until the conti case came to light, i was not aware of the extent of child abuse going on in the org.

and i was completely unaware of the jw policies on these matters.

i read their offical policy on child abuse on jw.org and was gob smacked to say the least.

I think that you would have to go the route that Matthew McConaughey used in the last courtroom scene in the movie "A time to Kill" In the movie there are some white supremist white boys who rape, mutilate and leave for dead a pre teen black girl.

The father of the young girl kills the 2 rapist and goes on trial for these murders.

His defense attorney has to convince the jurors, all are white, not to convict him for killing his child's rapist and would be murderers.

So in his closing arguments he has the jurors to close their eyes as he tells the gruesome story above, molestation etc, at the peak of this story he reel the jurors that the child in this tale is,........ White!!!

It is only when the jurors envision that the little girl is white do they "snap" and open their eyes in shock and take the case to heart. (Spoiler alert, they come back with a Not guilty verdict)

I feel you could somehow work it out where you tell your story with all the details including an alternate religion as you outlined above and put the twist in at the end of where you say "imagine if this was "X" " that had been molested.

I think that you would have to put a "imagine" in there to keep the sanity in check.

When I read between the lines from that quote I see "We're chomping at the bit to kill us some apostates, if we were back in old times, the good ole days, I would be completely okay with killing me some apostates, family first of course"

So with this one pargraph, the WTBTS has flipped a switch on in the JWs heads that gives them the thumbs up and permission to murder those that call them out for trying to enslave us into a cult.

How screwed up is that?
