  Tis The Season...For Elder Visits.

  yesterday dear sister eyegirl (of the international sisterhood of apostate albino's, northern branch) was visiting me.

  we just finished lunch and were about to rush out and see some r rated movies when the doorbell rang.

  if the elders, certain family members or your "friends" knew that you frequented this board, what do you think would happen in your life?......personally, i think a jc would be imminent, and i am not talking about the coming of jesus christ, either.

  Story exemplifies REAL jaydub "love"

  this story is from two melbourne,australia newspapers, march 15, 2003. upon first hearing this story i was saddened.

  my mind wandered off subject for a moment as i recalled how similar this story is to real life in the watchtower culture.

  perhaps some of you here can relate to this:-.

  Guaranteed that if she was someone the elder was trying to recruit into the cult, he would have been there constantly but, seeing as she was already a member,why bother? He can't score any points that way. Isn't that the way it is in the org.? They trip over themselves trying to get you asimilated into their group but once you get there...... they stop dead in their tracks. Truly a shame. But what more can be expected from a book publishing company? neyank

  i have just come across this website and was amazed to read to many similar experiences to what i went through with the 'loving' congregations of jehovah's witnesses.

  i have now been gone 4 years but after reading some experiences i realise that the pain they caused still remains.

  i am now quite angry at the way they control your life and brainwash you - i am so glad i finally saw what was happening and got out.

  Yep. That's the only way the WTS book publishing bussiness can stay in bussiness.
  
  Take away ALL individualality so that there is nothing but an empty shell and fill it with stuff that you want in there.
  
  A cookie cutter system. Just like ALL CULTS.
  
  The WTS exhalts itself above other groups because of its oneness. Its unity.
  They say that they are the true religion because ALL JWs worldwide believe the same thing at the same time.
  
  And just how is this unity acomplished?

  And those that don't follow the crowd like zombies will soon eventualy get out.
  
  So this does prove the the WTS brainwashing system isn't 100% efective.

  So many lonely people

  with 6 quatrillion people on this planet why are there so many lonely people desperately searching for someone to love?

  with cities crowded with people, why is it that finding someone to love would be so hard?

  there are more and more single people as time passes.

  Elders coming...i'm shaking in my boots...NOT! Any help?

  i had a phone call last night from one of the elders asking if they can come around.

  when i asked him why he said it was to discuss whether i would be interested in having a study.. this is strange as i have been baptised since i was 14 and left about 4 years ago and have had little contact with any witnesses except my parents, but, the only thing that has changed over the last few weeks is that i put together a 50 page report documenting a range of subjects including the un involvment etc and give it to my mum.

  then within a week the elders want to ask my to have a study!.

  "What I would like from you is any killer points that you think I can use" Well there are a lot of points that can be brought up. Failed prophecies. Changes-flip flops in their teachings. Claiming that Jesus was enthroned as KIng in 1914 when their is no proof of such an ocurance. Claiming to be Gods chosen org. when there is no proof at all. The fact that if God chose the WTS to be His org. in 1914, why aren't they still teaching the things they taught then? If they get their teachings from God, why do they keep changing them? Can't God tell them the truth the first time? The un-Christian way they treat their fellow man. The rules and regulations they enforce even tho those rules are NOT in the Bible. The fact that JWs MUST go door to door selling, distributing, placing worthless magazines in order to score points with God. Hoping that maybe, just maybe they sold enough magazines, attended just enough meetings, worshiped the WTS just right. that God just might, maybe, there's a slight chance, spare them at Armageddon. I could go on but, the main point that I would bring out is... Where is the proof that God chose the WTS as His orginization. In the Bible, any parson that God used had proof that He was using them. ie: miracles, prophecies that came true, teachings that didn't have to be changed when they were found to be wrong. WHERE IS THE PROOF GOD IS USING THE WTS??? neyank

  Are you guys saying that the Truth book isn't TRUE?!?!? How can you say that? Why, even the title of the book says it's 'truth'. OK. I've got to admit it. I studied with that book and I fell for the teachings too. Garybuss summed up the way cults operate. The WTS fits the bill to a T. neyank
