Email from a friend's mother

wow, i was just forwarded an email from a good friend of mine who recently moved away from where i live.

he was telling me that his mother sent this to him after he expressed concern about the pedophile issue.

he couldn't believe that she basically attacked him over this and that she defended the issue so strongly.

If anything your mother is an expert in this field, i have never told you about it. There is hardly ever a second witness to it. Unless the perpetrator is accused by others or admits it, how can you tell who tells the truth?

Boy does this ever say a mouthfull! That is the core issue. WT says there MUST be a second witness to sexual abuse, or all charges are dropped. She does not even see this double-talk of her's.

the chicago sun-times in todays issue has decided that the jehovah's witness molestation story has merit and printed it.

the story is in the religion section page 32. the headline is "jehovah's witnesses face sex scandal.

" the story describes the tribulation of william bowen in kentucky who has tried his best to get to wts to clean up the congregation as to child molesters.

Then how can you blindly accept as true anything printed by an organization which delibertly mis-quotes source material and then HIDES the very information needed to verify those quotes?

let me see if i got this right.. jduds sell literature for 85 years, and collect the profits tax-free.. billy graham (?

) and his cronies get their nuts in a vise over the same issue, and end up being the defendents in a tax evasion case.

after being reading this board i just wanted to express myself a little.

please excuse my english if it goes really bad ;).

i just wanted to share my experience with the jw.. i live in iceland.

Just remember - you OWE the elders NO information. If they come calling, just pretend you are not home. If they find you outside, just say you have been very busy and that you don't have time to talk right now. Then just walk away. Silence is your best defence.

can someone list the letters on each one of the 7 dice in the game "word yahtzee" for me?

the game is out of print now, so i can't just go out and buy a copy.. i've also been using all the search engines to no avail.

all i seem to come up with are the "game rules", which does not give a listing the 6 letters on each of the seven dice.. thanks,.
