  too late for your situation, but i'd treat her as i've come to treat my jw family: leave religion, the truth, jehovah (and the rest of that jw baggage) out of all conversations... unless they bring it up.

  and even then, don't expect much.

  btw, Pete started a hilarious thread... "Who flushed the toilet over at Simon's?" Norm got rid of him. Reminds me of purelanguage.net: post the wrong kind of post, get df'd forthwith... which... um... reminds me of still another group.

  JWs & Billy Graham cut from the same cloth?

  this past week there was a *bombshell* dropped about the reverend billy graham.

  there were some audio tapes unclassified of conversations between billy graham and president nixon.. anyhow, the tapes revealed how billy graham really felt about the jews--proclaiming even then that "we'd better get the media out from under their control before it gets too late" and other anti-semitic remarks.. when questioned about it, graham simply stated that *he had no recollection of those conversations.

  however he apologized for his anti-semitic remarks and the harm it may have caused.. now, what about jehovah's earthly organization????

  It seems "some" were using the edit feature to destroy evidence of "flame baiting", and other such naughty things that they had said. They would then claim that they had never posted "them thar words" in the first place. So to stop this practice, Simon disabled the editing feature. So now we mis-spellers have to suffer.

  sometimes, all that info can give you jw overload.

  there's a hell of a lot of things that apostates and the such do other than focus on the wt.

  man [8>] they do have a life besides.. it's good to get to know others anyways.

  can someone list the letters on each one of the 7 dice in the game "word yahtzee" for me?

  the game is out of print now, so i can't just go out and buy a copy.. i've also been using all the search engines to no avail.

  all i seem to come up with are the "game rules", which does not give a listing the 6 letters on each of the seven dice.. thanks,.

  TR,

  That is the only link that I have been able to come up with, too, by using the search engines. It does not, however, give a listing of the letters on the individul dice or the point value system used in the game. I was hoping to find someone who actually has the game and can provide me with the listings for each dice.

  i'm a newbie around here.

  i have only posted once but i've come in here almost every day to read for about the past month.

  this place has been therapeutic for me as i'm currently trying to make my exit out of the borg.

  DO NOT DA yourself!! It will only cause you MORE problems. To avoid going to meetings, etc. get a job that has the same hours as the meeting schedule. That way all you have to say to their prying questions is that you have to work during meeting times and are "too tired" to go out in service or a meeting when you are off work. All the elders can say to that situation is to advse you to find a new job. ha ha. To which you can simply say, "But I like my job and am happy." End of conversation.

  Another suggestion would be to move out of that congo teritory and claim that you and your husband are attending another Hall.
