I am getting better! I reached a real low this year, I was pioneering and hated cause I really did not believe but I had done it so long I thought I had to continue...I had some drepression this winter but amazingly it went away when I told the elders that I wanted to come off the list, I also told my mom and one of my sisters that I totally did not beleive anymore, they are accepting of me. I am still an active witness though (you know one step at a time) although latley I have not been doing anything extra, I only attend meetings and service on the weekend, I hardly study for the meetings anymore..as for the kingdom melodies, I skip them when they come on the ipod, I only sing at the meetings...

Matrix moment - what was it and when did you share it?
by MMXIV infor those of you who had a moment like that from the matrix when you realised what you'd believed was fundamentally flawed or a lie - what caused that defining moment and how long was it before you could share your thoughts?.

I remember driving home on a very clear summer day about two years ago and I was thinking (like I always do, just look at my username) and I just realized that it was not true, but at that very same moment "ever loyal"song 63 came on my ipod and I got really freaked out for those of you who don't know the lyrics to that song check it out cause it really made me afraid:

So I cried my eyes out and begged Jehovah for forgivness...I continued going back and forth with what I beleived. I found things on the internet then I would go to the meeting and start to beleive again...I'm at the point now where I dont really beleive the WT society anymore.

I am an active JW on the outside, but on the inside I'm soooo far gone from their faith...It has taken time but i'm far less active then I use to be, so maybe i'm on my way to becoming inactive...

The elders want to see me also
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini mentioned a few times, that in terms of making my time for the past few months have been really difficult.simply because i cant teach something i don't fully believe...so my service has gone down,i used to comment a lot--haven't done that in a while----meeting attendance like normal but now i don't stay back after...or come early...or help with cleaning..... .
so some weeks ago the cobo asked me a completely irrelevant and in no way helpful question---"you did't think that i notice how upset you look these days----that's not a fruitage of god's spirit!".
yeah so today he saw me and asked me a series of question....all which i gave really short answers to...long story short--he says that he would like for me to meet wih the rest of the elders after memorial........ .

Here are the "sins" I committed this weekend:
- I hung out with my catholic friend and flirted with him while together
- brought a lotto ticket on a dare
- forgot to do my WT
-Now i'm posting on an apostate web site at 8:30 am, this is going to make me really late for the meeting....
All of this bad stuff, and it's only Sunday morning....Let's see what other kinds of trouble I can get myself in today!
Ok so those are my confessions...What are yours?

I genuinely love them
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini love these people so much!
we had kh cleaning last weekend for the memorial and it felt just like old time and brought back soo many memories...i share my struggles, my joys ...everything with my bros and sis... they are my friends...i really truly do love them...how can i leave?
that feeling just made me feel like abandoning all this reasarch and go on living blindly .

I too had so much love for the friends in the hall, then I started making friends other places also...now my best friend is a catholic guy, and I have never felt so closer to anyone. I also have some really good friends at work that love me for me, not because we are the same religion. Start giving people outside the organization a chance, and you will see that not all wordly people are "bad".

Quote from Giliad Graduation
by lostinthought inso loch made this gem of a quote on saturday: the "slave makes mistakes, truth is revealed progressivily.
our understanding changes and gets better" .
he also said that we know we have the "truth" because thousands are baptized but we should not only watch numbers..... ok, huge eye roll..

Number of JW's on antidepressant medication & unemployment
by biometrics inin the congregations i attended more than 60% of the people i knew were on some type of antidepressant medication.
this rate seems much higher than "worldly" people i know/knew.
or perhaps witnesses are just more open about this topic?.
