  12 WORST MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY DANGERS - DID BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS MAKE THE LIST?

  the latest medscape week in review (march 7th 20120 publishes up to date research on the most dangerous medical technology dangers.

  these range from ct scans (increased risk of radiation over-exposure) to wrongful insertion of feeding tubes to "alarm fatigue" (i.e., nursing staff becoming "immune" to activated alarms that patients are in medical distress and needing immediate intervention).

  "sadly", blood transfusion technologies did not make the list at all.

  Good to know, I always love their argument...."transfusion lead to slower healing times"....so death is better.

  Kingdom Hall Dreaming

  how many of you have had these dreams, where you find yourself at the hall or assembly?.

  i have found myself in both scenarios, almost 10 years since i set foot in either, but when i do have these dreams (not often) i do laugh out loud in my dream saying "what the hell am i doing here" and the freinds..... oh how are you, it's so good to see you back.

  and the venue is always dark.

  I can only recall one dream, this was after my wake up and after some heavy discussions about going to the memorial and partaking. I was a small child and partook, after my parents and the elders informed me that it was not for eating, I replied, who are you to tell me I am not of the annointed class, or something like that. It's a vague memory of the dream, but that was the subject matter. No one said there was an age limit haha.

  this is just my thought after reading over the "book study" for this week.. the apostles chose to follow christ, all of them were jewish christians.

  no matter where paul and silas went, the pharisees stayed harrassing them and would not leave them alone.

  spreading vicious rumors and trying to have them stopped.. jws compare themselves to the apostles who were being persecuted for going to the synagogues and drawing away other jews and proselytes.

  I know someone who stayed under the radar, for his family. He got them ALL out. Was the slow painful fade worth it for him? I would think so. There are many reasons people stay under the radar.

  I personally couldn't do it, my eyeballs would roll so hard they would fall out of my head, but then again, I've already lost all my family. I was a WT orphan while still a believer, I was just inactive. I don't have to lose them again now that I am full blown awake, they already avoid me like I am a leper. Except my mother, she just sends emails to preach at me from time to time about how close the end is.

  I have tremendous respect for those who put themselves thru that, in order to help their family, however they chose to help their family.

  53 jesus said to them, very truly i tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

  There are many who do not call it the memorial, they call it the rejection. That really is what it is, the rejection of His sacrifice. "We know you suffered, but I'll pass, the GB says no, doesn't matter what you say, they say no, so I'll pass, thanks anyway."

  Illegitimacy. I too had the 1975 issue, having lived thru that myself.

  Altho for years I thought there was something wrong with me, and that's why I couldn't get it. It was "the truth" therefore it I was the broken one. I finally sat down with a local sister to "get it" once and for all, get off the fence. What did it for me, was nothing could be clarified with the bible alone. The fact that she too could not answer my questions with the bible alone, started my wake up. By the time the CO came to town, I was pretty much awake, and he just was more ice water, waking me up even further. He too, couldn't use just the bible, he used the power play of machine gun firing scriptures that had nothing to do with our discussion, then pulling the "well then, you don't know everything" routine to gain control. Too bad for him, I saw right thru it. At least I am off the fence haha.

  I really would like another crack at that CO haha, now that I am fully awake and more informed.

  Baptism

  i just wanted to ask a question as regards jw baptism.

  i already know that just before the actual baptism the soon to be jw has to answer 2 questions, but what i'd like to know is this: during the actual baptism do the jw's stick to matt 28:19 "baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit" ?.

  thanks in advance for any help.. i'd also like to know if it would be possible to speak privatly with one of the more experianced members.

  Due to my indepth research of tris organization, I no longer believe they were ever God's organization. Do I believe they are spirit directed? If you believe in the spirit world, yes they are. Which spirit however? It sure isn't the Holy Spirit.

  Even the baptism question just calls it the "spirit directed" - Holy Spirit isn't mentioned (so much for not going beyond what is written). Which spirit is it or is it all of them. Legion anyone?

  14: "for all who are lead by god's spirit, these are god's sons.. 15: for you did not recieve a spirit of slavery causing fear again, but you recieved a spirit of adoption as sons, by which spirit we cry out: "abba, father!".

  16: the spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are god's children.. 17: if then, we are children, we are also heirs: heirs indeed of god, but joint heirs with christ, provided we suffer together that we may also be glorified together.".

  The new covenant is only for the 144K, according to the WT. So the "all" that is part of the new covenant would only be those who are part of it, namely the 144K only. Since the GB declare that most of those who partake are mental, it really only means them.

  The rank and file are subject to the GB, to get to Jesus and God. The GB is the rank and file's mediator. Huge shocker for me when I really started to examine the literature and found out, according to them, Jesus was not my mediator, always thought he was. I was shocked by a great many things.

  What could trigger a large proportion of JWs at once that this religion is a scam

  i am just thinking if there could ever be anything that would raise consciousness in the minds of millions of jws that this a completely hoax.

  what could spark millions of them at once, any thoughts?..

  I think for many, the Governing Body themselves could tell them to their faces, it's a scam, and they would just laugh it off. Some will never wake up, they are terminally mind controlled.

  Some know now, they are just stuck. Some may suspect, but the fear of being without the apron strings is just too terrifying, so they just up the self denial.

  The difference today, is many are reasearching before they get in too deep. Many are researching before they have too much to lose. Many are young enough that they reasearch and are able to leave and have happy healthy productive lives. It is changing, but unfortunately, some will just never wake up.
