Repost: My Two Week Consulting Trip to Bethel
by Hunyadi insince half of them ended up at my house on friday and saturday nights i was given a very shining report card.
he then told me that he would knock on my door bright and early in the morning to take me to breakfast with him and his wife.
a couple of them told they enjoy the articles i write in the art magazines and they were really happy to meet me.

Is Tim Burton that good or...

I can't wait to see this film! I am not so much a Burton fan as I am a Ewan McGregor fan...was he as beautiful in this as Moulin Rouge?
My kids love Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach. I have to admit his films are incredible.

North American Cold Snap: How Cold Is It Where You Are?

it's cold in toronto tonight/this a.m. - i believe it went as low as -26c (minus 26 celsius) .
it was pretty freakin' cold.

sounds crazy to me but let's check it out.. .
mine are 9 inches apart (that's 22.5 cms for those who prefer metric).. .

I don't mind the beauty of the snow but I really am unable to endure sub zero temperatures.
I don't like the cold either...in fact the days that we went sled riding it was actually quite comfortable out. It was cold of course, but not frigid. I am a firm believer that if it is going to be cold, there should at least be snow on the ground! I remember as a kid, we had a lot more snow than we have nowadays. I am still waiting on a BIG SNOW here in Cincy! We got alot of rain in the past week and then frigid temperatures on top of that...so now we are experiencing alot of flooding. -

Thinking about moving to Cincinnati...
by DanTheMan inmy employers' intranet website recently posted for a position located in cincinnati (which is about a 2 hour drive from columbus, where i live).. the requirements/skills listed on the posting seemed right up my alley, so i submitted my app online.
today i get an email from the hr lady asking me when i can interview.. i'm so nervous about this!
i've never lived far from home, and i'm very close with my family, to be honest they're all i've got, i don't have friends or a social circle to speak of.
